Mutations (again) - DSL MW Hybrid - SIGNUPS OPENED AGAIN (1 slot left !)

Mutations, 16 entries, DSL MW Standard Hybrid only tournament.

I will enter with

Starting just with MW, next Mutations if I do one will be HW or SHW.

Tournament Basics
-DSL MW Hybrid. Limit of 399.0 kg, your bot will be illegal if the game shows 399.0 as HW.
-16 entries, to be increased or decreased if necessary.
-Arena will be Containment Cube with powered-up hazards. Finals arena is in Epic Showdown. Feel free to find me more interesting arenas.
-Standard 1vs1 brackets, except for the finale who will be a 3-way free-for-all and 3 1vs1 matches like in Mighty Naryar's Glorious Melee.
-No loser's bracket. You lose, you're out.
-No qualifiers or byebots. I will very likely enter my own tournament, and I am entering to both win and build something cool. I shall showcase ùy bot if I do enter.

Building Rules
-DSL 2.1 Standard MW.
-DSL 2.1 components only + smartzones.. Custom components are banned.
-MW Hybrid bots ONLY. All hybrids must be functional. If you do not abide by the spirit of "hybrids only" and enter what is functionally a single-weapon bot (ex: a MW HS with 1 static razor and you claim "hurr hybrid durr!!!11one!"), or if one or several of your weapon systems are nonfunctional, your bot will not be accepted.
Also, all weapon systems must each weight 20kg minimum. This counting extender work and weapons.
Note : An hybrid is a bot that has several weapon systems. List of valid weapon systems (pick 2, 3 or more if you are on crack) :
Rammer, poker, wammer, face spinner, SnS (any type), HS (any type), vertical hammer (any type), side hammer (any type), juggler, angled spinner, VS (any type), top spinner, flipper (any type, including weaponed flipper), popup (any type), flying guillotine, drum (any type), sawbot (any type), clamp, chicken drill.
Any other weapon systems are OK (although see the list of banned bot types later), although subjected to fairness check before accepting.
"Wedge", "weaponless pusher" and "flamethrower" do NOT count as a weapon system for the requirements, although you can add these to your bot freely.
-Bot types banned : Trinity bots, crawlers, bumble balls, HS/SnS hybrids, flipper/popup hybrids, anything that relies on an unrealistic glitch to work, TRFBD's.
-Minimum bot building quality controls will be performed and I will not accept poorly built bots. You may enter no matter who you are, but i don't want any obvious SFTW's. If your bot is not accepted, I will however provide advice on how to make it better.
-Triple hybrids will be given a +20kg weight cushion.
-Bots equipped with flamethrowers will be given a +30kg weight cushion. It stacks with the triple hybrid bonus.
-Any out-of-lab bot building techniques (bfe, aam, etc) are banned. Skinning your bot may be done by whatever method.
-Trov glitch, Trinity glitch, Nasty pickle glitch, hax mode, ZeroG glitch are banned.
-Allowed armors : only the DSL 2.1 ones. No custom armors allowed.
-No multibots.
-Flails bearing weapons are limited to 3 flails maximum.
-If your bot doesn't have any weapon components it will be illegal.

Tournament Running Rules

-You may AI your own bot. If you do not however, you may not complain about the ai choices I do, unless I make an obvious error.
-You MUST provide correct bindings and smartzones so your bot is ready to ai.
-If your bot requires custom-made ai to work, then it is your job to provide it.
-Cheating ai's will be slain on sight. Aesthetic-only custom ai's (who play sounds, show graphic effects, etc) which do NOT affect the match in any other way are allowed.
-Havok explosions that definitely tip the fight in favor of a bot will earn a restart. It another meaningful havok happens in the match, then the bot responsible for it will lose the round. You only have 1 havok restart per match as well.
- Spikeball mode will be tolerated if under 20 seconds, if a bot goes over that it will lose the round.
- Bots that lose all their drive will lose the match immediately.
- Conraa, Urjak and Naryar (wait a second...) get free entries due to being in the finals of my previous tournament.
- There will be rewards to be voted for, and rewards provided by me.
- Anyone who goes into final will earn a free entry into the next Mutations. And glory, and fame, and ego satisfaction, etc.

Would a half crawler VS be legal?

I suppose it would, except to be an actual MW half crawler and VS hybrid it'd need 4 different weapons (2 spinning upwards, 2 downwards touching the ground and playing the role of half crawler) and good luck cramming all that under MW.

Also I'll bet it'll go all spikeball mode and promptly get eliminated due to that.

But it's not illegal and probably interesting, so you can go for it.

damn i knew this 20kg rule would forbid good hybrids from being made

despite what the rule says, i'd be honestly fine with the chicken drill.

Though to be honest with you, no one builds chicken drills in MW DSL for a reason - they suck.
