Maximum Overkill - Signups
« on: June 18, 2014, 05:43:51 PM »

Stock LW

Everyone will be able to enter up to 18 entries.
Single elimination, best 1 of 1 matches for sanity's sake. Except for the final match, which is best 5 of 9.
The tournament continues until there is only one bot left. Last bot standing is the winner.
Really strightforward guys. NO restrictions on bot quality, come one come all etc.

GENERAL RULES
-You know what "stock" means. No BFE, AAM, Hax Mode, cheatbot2, Thyrus Glitch, Text Editing... etc
-Any and every non-cheatbot2 component included with the 1.4 version of stock is 100% legal, this includes the 140cm extenders, all AI parts, and the snapper II
-Your bot must show some sort of controlled movement (I will be testing for this, but I am generally lenient about it), 1WD bots and crawlers are fine, given they use a melty brain with controlled movement or can move forward.
-Failing the controlled movement test will result in any infringing entries being rejected, you must replace your entry after with something more stable/controlled.
-Smartzones do not count as weight if it pushes your robot above the weight limit.
-Once accepted, you are allowed to update/change your team ONCE and only ONCE. Updating a single bot counts as updating your team, so be careful!
-Of course, adding bots to your team, or replacing an invalid bot doesn't count as updating your team. If you explicitly say that you want a sent bot to replace another bot on your team, that IS a update.
-Any obvious attempts to counteract or otherwise exploit a loophole in the rules will be automatically DQ'd (example: sending 18 of the same bot, Chris).
-Multibots are allowed, even though there is no reason to build a LW multibot.
-While replicas, IRL bots, and intentionally poorly built bots clearly built below the builders skill level ("jokebots") will be accepted (given they follow the rules), they will be marked in purple in the signups, and will be removed if signups fill completely.

HAVOK RULES:
-Occasional, minor havok is counted as controlled movement as long as it is not constant (i.e. you cannot turn without going airborne).
-If your bot is suspected of causing a game-altering havok, the match will be restarted once. If it happens again during the match, the offending bot will be ELIMINATED IMMEDIATELY, no exceptions.

-Max limit is 256 entries.
-My entries are:

The arena will be the Small Arena (Small... arena with no OOTA potential, and no hazards).
The arena for the finals will be the Epic Showdown arena (circular arena with poles along the edges and OOTA potential)

Green = Accepted.
Purple = Host's bots, IRL style bots, Replicas, and Jokebots, will be removed when signups fill.

(While you are not REQUIRED to AI your bots, I highly recommend it to speed up the pre-SBV process on my end. I would really appreciate it!)

WOAH I really need to build more LWs.

I would host the tournaments separately though.

"The Big Tournament of Little Bots?" Could that good name for this?

Anyway, I could find a few old LW's for this tourney.

I'll probably end up only sending one or two bots because I'm not that great with LWs.
