d lark just told me that even if not attached to the baseplate, motors must still be more than 50% outside the chassis,

Done, sorry about that! And that loophole he is speaking about, please dont put components on ME's and then place it so they are still inside your chassis. lf you want to be sneaky just know that atleast 50% (more preferrably) of the said component has to extend out of the chassis.
