Nar's right. You really can't mix regular 'realistic' simulated robot fighting (i.e. RA2), with cannons and such. But cannon battles are fun, and call for great skill and strategy; but they'd have to be a different class than Stock and DSL bots.
Maybe there could be an "AI Cannon Bot" Tourney, using Stock and/or DSL parts. There are now a couple AI.py available so people could AI their own combat bots, either 'chassis' aiming or 'servo' aiming of weapons. Maybe I'll host this (in all my spare time) and give it a try.
I'll start a thread on this sometime soon, if there's enough interest.

W-Nut, Hosting a Tourney is cool, and appreciated. But right now there is BBEANS going and RAW about to start. So just wait until one of these is finished, then have at it.
And when you host, start a new thread, and list your class, rules and parameters.
BTW: it's allot of work, but fun too.

I am getting REAL tired of seeing tournaments started and not finnished too!

I suggest you wait untill some of the other tournaments complete then start a new one.

The are ZERO...NONE...ZILCH.....NADA single entry sent in for the BOTM Oct.
