I think that matchup went reasonably well, I didn't get taken apart as much as I thought I would. But I've definitely got an unfavourable draw  this time around. Hopefully I can smack him away before he gets to me, much as I did Stratocaster. If I lose one more wheel, then I'm still alright.

As expected, I was completely murdered by Voulez-Vous. My wedges were attached to the same extenders as my weapon motors but since I lost both of them, that won't be an issue for my future matches. I didn't lose either of my weapon motors but the centripetal forces may be my downfall in future matches.

Precisely.  There have actually already been several rematches at this point (Grinding Noise and X-Press have fought twice, BoomBox and Blood Shed, Blood Shed and One Way Ticket... maybe more).

Exactly 16 bots left.     I was hoping that would happen because I wasn't sure what I would do for the semifinals if there were an odd number of bots.
 
The semifinal rumbles are arranged the same way as the survival rounds... the winners of round 8 are randomly grouped together and the losers are randomly grouped together, then the 2 extra winners and 2 extra losers fight if they didn't just fight last round.
 
As a refresher, there is no time limit on the semifinal and final rumbles, and immobility warnings are disabled for the first 2 minutes.  The bot that ultimately survives the Fight to the Death will have to eliminate all other opponents.
 
Any remaining spares DO NOT COUNT from this point on except for the winners... if you get KO'd now you're out, whether or not you have a spare control board.
 
Later on I might do some bonus loser's rumbles using some bots that would have survived the semifinals but didn't win though.

I would think that compact rammers like Big Dog and Bullet Train balance a small chassis to hit with amount of wheel exposure and are likely to be more successful.

and my match went exactly like I expected, nice.

Oh man, I really don't know how I will fare in my next match.  I can take out Trollestia and One Way Ticket with a bit of strategic driving, and I can easily disarm The Beast.  On the other hand, I might get overwhelmed by the sheer number of weapons my opponents have, and there's a chance I will get attacked from behind.
