Seeing that I may be outclassed by the ones who manged to fit mircovore disks onto their beetles. I could win some matches if the AI goes well and my matches go into my favor.
But like every tournament, Good luck to all and hope your bots don't get smashed up into millions of micro-bytes. (I still think that I'm outclassed here but I shouldn't worry straight away.)

So... robots:
IMPLYING DSL 2.2: Angled spinners may be a slight problem, but with Sadism having the ability to hit the disc from the top, it should be a bit easy, though its a total crapshoot here.
Frontal Assault: Fodder. Moving on.
Bad Mechavore HS: The motor is going to be piss easy for Sadism and other bots to snag and rip off. That is, if it can hit the motor, though.
Hercules Beetle: This is also easy fodder here.
Box With Wheels: More easy fodder.
Bug Bite: Even more easy fodder.
Mechadino's Mecha Sadism: MUH META MUH META (yeah this was deliberate :Z)
Bring Me Probably Rob! Its cool, but the FS isn't going to do much here.
Flibble 3: Flibble Harder: Its sorta like IMPLYING DSL2.2, though it should hopefully be more stable considering its setup.
Mr. Log: Its weird how Logcutter somehow has more weaponry than the DSL-S version. Should do okay here.
O-Zone: Easy fodder here.
Tracy McGrady: An interesting robot, though the weaponry could be a huge worry.
Bismuth: This is a oddball. It could potentially go all the way with the defensive weaponry it has on it.
Bushfire 2: Its like MMS but... a bit sh**.
Socket: Its a good rammer, but that slot at the front makes it easy pickings for the VS'es here.
Train Carriage: This will be a definite wildcard here. It could do well against the VS'es, though could have trouble against the HS'es.

Catching up on all of this. First round was purely luck, I was expecting that my bot would get trashed up badly, but if it wasn't for  Train carriage maulering, I would of lost. But as all predictions come in Round 2, my bot was trashed up. But not badly, regardless of my bot's wheels being ripped of, my face spinner remained intact so it wasn't that bad overall. But my bot will still be trashed in the up coming rounds.

And I'm the only winless bot. T_T

As for the JD: Bad Mechavore HS had more points giving him damage.
Aggression and Control I gave both to Bad Mecha HS as he hit more than Socket and did a fair amount of pushing, never allowing socket to use his weapon fully.

Well, even if it was in-game scoring, the Bad mecha HS would've won anyway.  It had the points.  I guess I did forget to mention the judging style. :/

Another lucky shot against an incredibly weak bye-bot. Still felt like there was no real challenge in my fourth match-up what so ever. Ok the bye bot that BMPR fought against did win a match, but it was still weak compared to the rest of the bots that BMPR fought. But that's what you get from fighting a bye bot.

Against two mirco-vore in a row. Round 5 I lost but at least I lasted 2 mins before being knocked out. Round 6, I'm getting sick of being matched up against Mirco-vore dics bots. I've have nothing against them, but I'm getting fled up of these match-up half the time. Now looking at the brackets, Another Mirco-vore disk three times in a row! I honestly think that you have a Mirco-vore disk Fetish against me.

Honestly, I think your robot, IMPLYING DSL 2.2 and Bismuth are gonna have me beat here. Its chassis is ridiculously fragile, unfortunately.

tbh im done with this tournament. The sh**ty ruleset (judges decisions and half points for WBP, a mechavore bot is going to win unless it gets jewed by the absurd arena) combined with the arena with walls so low that random bots get OOTA'd after dominating fights means the outcome of fights is often just based on pure luck. gl with the rest of the tournament.

Yeah the JDs I messed up on and the arena I thought was appropriate for BWs.  Mechadiscs I genuinely didn't expect.  Guess I've never seen a bw tourney though.

If everyone is tryharding with mecha discs in IRL then it looks terrible, Standard is where the mecha disc tryhards should be hanging out.

So, I come back from a weekend away and this is what happen. The whole forum turns into a land of total disagreement over the Mecha-vore discs, while Shield explains form over function which is perfectly reasonable since, the Mecha-Vore seems to do better on a Bot that have the design to use the Mecha-Vore disc (MVDs) effectively, than a bot that uses it ineffectively such as a HS over a VS if that is too plain obvious. Look, as I keep saying: I've have nothing against Mecha-vore discs and how they're used. But when you face wave after wave of MVDs, some people will get fed up with them like the latest craze and just wish they could win or something. So, sorry if I did get as salty as a Salt mine, but I'll won't stop anyone from using MVDs in tournarments.

As in my matches, it's clearly plain that I would lose to a MVD. So, I just need to face it.

But that's the time when you realize that, once you faced all the Micro-Vore disks you don't need to fight anymore of them again. Until someone throws you into a grudge with one or two of them, you cannot complain to be salty.

Looks like things are getting hot under the collar. I was honestly thinking that I would be able to rip off the Hammers of my opponent, but the Hammers' HP was high enough to resit the damage, so my Spikes were ripped off instead. Bugger.

Surprisingly my bot survived, despite taking major Chassis Damage against Bug Bite. Still, I may need to fix the problems with my Face spinner from hitting the ground too often, and have BMPR start acting like a face spinner over a drill bot.
I still happen to be seeing the MV (Mirco-Vore) Disc master race in action way too much.

Maybe I should of checked how long my battery lasted, bugger. But still, it was a close fight against Dreamcast, especially when BMPR manged to do some damage to Tracy and Tracy managed to deflect the damage. As I said before and to fit with the new logo: looks like this tournament is getting hot under the collar!

Battery power lets me down again *Sigh*. I should of used a battle-pack over two ants, but because at the time I didn't realize how bad ants were in 2.2, due to me reading an outdated 2.1 tutorial, I ended up using them. Still, it's too late now but I'll consider a re-build if possible.

It have been a long ride, but this tournament is reaching it's end. With me having no chance going through. I have to applaud NeonCalypso for his victory in Forest Fire. That robot was a ****ing vicious wall and even my 'bot couldn't stop it. I'm not gonna be sad I lost - after all, Mecha Sadism managed an enormous 15 wins and got first place in the round robin, so for that, it has managed to exceed my expectations. A shame it fell at the final hurdle, but ya can't win 'em all.

And yet again, this rumble is another showing on how the Mechavore/Mircovore disk master race dominates the DSL-S beetleweight class. But I'm supersized that BMPR made it to the sixth round of the rumble, despite being mostly trashed half the time. But that is because the Elimination Houdini charm came in. No matter if BMPR does get trashed up, someone else's bot would be destroyed if I was to dodge the bullet.
