Good morning everyone, a really long time no see, I hope all is well.

Now I must both apologize and confess on behalf of my absence and the massive tie in with my college schedule. I had become overwhelmed with my own life to the point that I became completely preoccupied with ELBITE. I'm taking up a career in web design (which is very demanding) and i never really had a chance to get some free time with this wonderful forum. But technology just isn't on my side since i've left...

Luckily however, Things have died down, and now that I'm back on the forums, in short, I guess that you and I can both agree that the current robots that have competed seem a little "dated". To top it off, as i said before with the technology/server issues, due to some bug on my system (or virus), my computer was not able to power on. The only option was to completely reinstall my Operating System, thereby, losing not only most of my ELBITE things, the competitors, the arenas, and the robots, but everything I ever made previously on Robot Arena 2, RA2GE, and all. It's been a while and now, coming back, I feel ashamed having to come back to you with such a devastating story. But as one famous person said, "____ Happens."

I guess all I'm asking is that if it is ok with you guys for me to re-open the ELBITE SuperTournament, so more people can enter and so i, no, we, can start afresh... It's completely in the hands of the staff and i understand completely if they disagree with it at all. I just really want to contribute to this forum for my loss and am willing to announce it not only to ACAMS and comp. but to the community, so you all know the reason as to why this thing hasn't been up and running like it should. I really want to finish this awesome event and i know you all want to as well, so your input is greatly appreciated.

You might be able to salvage some of the bots through your PMs. :D

Yay Welcome back Giga, your absence has been greatly missed by many including myself.

that is a sad tale to hear of all your work lost for sure.

A fresh start is welcomed from the circumstances so long as you follow the structure (discussion, signups then eventual videos)

if you need any help be sure to ask  ;)

I've voted Stock HW. I like that, so I thought it'd be a safe bet. Just as long as we don't get entries with 50,000 Irons on flail spinners...

@ Golden Fox - I will consider the use of flailing weapons and the billions of Irons. A originality rule maybe. in the meantime, i doubt that will be an issue.

While I do prefer DSL building and am not very productive in stock, I agree there have been too little stock tournaments, and that's why I voted for stock.

As of now:
HW Stock still has a chance to bypass DSL-MW for the Tournament rule. I will extend the poll to 10:30 pm EST in case we get a different result. Both are neck at neck. If either one wins the vote, then the second highest vote gets a spot for being the rule for next season. I also want to thank ACAMS for giving me a second chance with this, this means a lot...

IMPORTANT:

The ELBITE SuperTournament will have a new sign up thread as well. This ensures that those who want to enter get a chance to, and also gives me enough time to set things up early on. I want to include ESIS in this one as well, so that's something else to look forward to. Cheers.

we have a new structure now, rather then having to chase around failign touraments you must make a discussion thread to pitch ideas, then  sign ups one containing all your final rules which will then be approved by a mod or admin. then you press on  ;)

Not really Nar, some of them might be inactive nowdays, but I think im going to enter again, my previous entry was a 2 minute SFTW bot.

Btw, sorry Giga, I kinda semi hijacked your idea for my tournament. If you look carefully enough you can see that its just a few other tournaments mixed togeter into one mess.
(on that note im sorry about lack of vids for it, I just havent remembered/couldnt be bothered to make them, thats the lazy bug that usually bites me)

I agree that there should be more stock tournaments, but I voted DSL MW because I cannot see this working well in stock. Some ideas just aren't meant for stock.

Polls are closed. DSL MW becomes the rule for season 1.

HW Stock will be the rule for Season 2.
