It's also DBP3's weakness , too. But I do have a good amount of defense, and after seeing how havoky Scrap's bot is, I think I stand a pretty good chance of going into Round 2. =]

Judging by the AI's behavior, it was.

Rammer AI v3 would have prevented me from hitting the walls so often, so you wouldn't have such an easy time gut-ripping. It wouldn't have prevented getting stuck on my nose, however. That was an incredible stroke of luck. Even with the old Rammer AI v2 I thought I had a chance once you started losing weapons and I still had both wheels. I might need to angle the axes down a bit more to help BWr3 tip onto its wheels.

Well, looks like it's only HS's and popups from here on.

He is this tournament's dark horse.

People seem to forget how effective the design of Child's Play is, regardless of invertibility.

Oh I know how effective it is... it's just that Wacky Bob's bot has a deceptively amateur look to it (big orange chassis, exposed motors, not invertible), compared to a lot of the "pro" bots in this. It's easy to forget that it's actually nearly as good as Childs Play and underestimate it just because of the way it looks.

I won't be making that mistake again, however.
