Since people don't seem to be fans of my wacky gimmick ideas...

RULES:
Stock LW
Combat Arena - no hazards
3 minute matches
Double elimination
At most 16 entrants
I can do AI lines, or you can send your own
BUILDING STUFF:
No HAX mode, BFE, or any of that crazy nonsense
AI parts are OK.
No custom components.
Bots must show controlled movement.
SnSs are banned (since that seems to be the popular thing to do these days)
Bots must have at least 2 powered wheels
SIGNUPS
Signups will close on December 5, at 11:59 PM. You may send updates to your bot until the deadline.

Hmm, I'll have to see what people think aboot this. I thought 1WDs were most common in sub-LW classes.

How about "no 1 wheel HS"? That means 1 wheel pistonbots or whatever other wacky nonsense are still okay. Yay or stupid?

I really think 2wd should be minimum because giving up a wheel is basically just freeing up 30kg more of weapons. It's not hard to skirt around the controlled movement restriction with just 1 wheel. I mean it's your tournament but its a very slippery slope imo.

Okay, since it seems like noone else has any opinions about the issue, I've added a "no 1 wheeled bots" rule.

1WD is pretty borderline in LW and inconsequential in MW and HW, since a well-built popup can just slide underneath and hit the chassis in most cases. They're pretty OP in anything below LW though. I'm fine with it being banned in LW though.

well, if it's up for a few weeks(time enough for my computer to be fixed potentially) i will join. also, i think a tourney with a gimmick would be cool.
