Wow, first tournament battle and my bot OOTA's itself

Edit: in the first 8 seconds I may add.

Im not going to demand a rematch because i wouldn't of won, but were the nose bindings correct, it definitely should not have done that!

edit edit : well looking over the AI and doing it myself, the motors werent strong enough to cope with the spinning, it is fine under switch and human control but the AI couldnt handle it, no fault of the tournament organizer

I'm not sure how the brackets work. Do the winners advance to the next round, and the 2nd and 3rd places fight it out for the other spot with the winners?

Solenopsis destructor could've won by points if the AI could constantly hold down the fire button on flamethrowers. As it is I ran out of fuel, which wouldn't be so bad except I was up against 2 rammers (S. destructor's worst enemy aside from wedges).

Neutrino is definitely my favorite for this tournament.

I'd play know-it-all but I'm not actually sure this time around.

Here's how I see it-
1st Round: 1st skips the next round, 2nd and 3rd advance
2nd Round: Winner advances
3rd Round: Winner advances
4th Round: Winner wins

Jonzu can you please double check the bindings and also copy/ paste to me ? I keep looking over the video and I have absolutely no knowledge of why CF just spun instead of walked. you didnt change anything at all did you ? delete SZ's, change values. anything ?

That's what you get when entering experimental designs in tournaments...

Either they come up decently, either something goes horribly wrong and they fail.

(Right here, another example with my 1WD ant)

I never expected it to win any match so I don't care about the result, just that it should have done this

I guess I will look at the bindings but I cannot pick the issue other then, SZ's removed (you didnt use the one in for the splash by accident did you ?)

Im not complaining or anything.. I just like to find the reason as to why a working robot doesn't work in another situation...

Edit: does it look like this in your Botlab if you take it straight out of the AI folder?

Anyways, sometimes the arena can be a bitch and the reason you lose.

Like when I lost in RIP and BBEANS5, wedge-wise.
