I made a bot.

Tested it against UHW-Ultra High Temperature.

All I can say is, I'm glad I'm not the one running this tournament.

(Yes I know UHT has flamethrowers and is extra laggy... but even fighting SHW's with an UHW the lag is bad enough.  And that's not even running Fraps.)

Big thanks to everyone entered so far. Great to see some of the big names like Click and SD sending in some great entries.

Now for this arena thing. How do I decompile to ASCII. I do not know whether or not Dummy`s or Serge`s decompilers do this, which one to use, anything. Been very busy lately so I have not had the most time to research this.

Thanks now for everyone who enters and who helps me with this arena. I am more interested in learning how than having someone do it for me. I have never had much of a reason to learn before this.

I tried the decompiler for arenas to get the Combat Arena decompiled, but that didn't seem to work for some reason.

Either of the [de]compilers work but I would use Serge's whenever possible because it supports the most modifications.

What do you want to learn? If you are interested, I can try to teach you anything from the basics to the more advanced things. Although my preferred medium is IM, I could also show you how via PM if you prefer that.

For the moment, I would like to learn how to adjust start positions in arenas, which requires decompiling the .gmf into ASCII, so I've heard. Other than that, I would be interested in learning things like adding hazards to arenas.

Hey, can someone look at my UHW's and pick one for me to enter?
It will be my entry if I don't have enough time to make a decent one.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

I did test my bot against EFIE2, and it didn't actually throw it that high. Which I thought was odd. I reckon I should have a fairly good run, with a bit of luck.

EDIT: Update sent.

OK got the decompiler and it tells me when I try to open it that MSVCR100.dll is missing. Is that the link under HALP DLLS MISSING in the support thread?

Linkey:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-4d3a-a423-37bf0912db84&displaylang=en&pf=true

Edit: Well the download of the decompiler kinda... um... made things crash a lot. So I system restored to yesterday and now its gone. Anybody know why this happens?
