Yeah, I'm just saying that the low walls may give a slight advantage with the huge hammers on BMMB-C. But yeah, I see what you're on about.

XD I just realized I was meant to write @Naryar in my post not @Craaig :P

sorry about the confusion :P

WOAH MAJOR AI PROBLEM ON XENO

You need to have it hold the button to lower the wedge for a second or two at the start of a match! Otherwise it effectively is weaponless! Please fix this!
Avoid the beam and you won't get hit!

# 3467483853 who didnt read the rules page

if you do not know the best AI give me a briefdescription of what you want it to do and I will work out a suitableone for your needs

you are "asking" (loosely using that) for me to AI make a custom .py that has the robot use a wired button for a short amount of time prior to the match ?

or just hold the button down.
you could just go into the botlab and map both to the same button. that works.

ok I will do that for the remainder of the tournament

a simple nice "Joe could you add a little extra thing to my AI" would go down a lot better then "WOAH MAJOR AI PROBLEM ON XENO"

I naturally take a lot of pride in my work... "you do something right or not at all" is my motto, I dont do things half arsed, I have already written 2-3 custom py's myself for this tournament, I don't just smash a heap of robots into the game and hope they all work.

I please ask of you use a little more care with your posts

Great videos, Can someone pleas tell what is JD's bot, I thought it was a flipper???? What are those black spinning discs, I've never seen those before at least I don't think. Sigh...... I thought walls changed in longer intervals, This arena is going to rape me big time lol. The bots don't even last long enough to get destroyed, I'm not even going to get a win. It's going to be CC2 all over again :vista: .

Potter's Wheels - on the same dropdown menu as Mechavore/Clep/Backlash etc discs

And Joe, it's good to take pride - technically C33 should've stated, but yeah, it's all finished now :P

Little late on predictions but here they are.

123savethewales - Flying Guillotine - Interesting concept, but dependent if the opposing bot will fit under the udder of flailing doom

090901 - Hammers on Fire - Good, stable VS. Not a SFTW by any means

Ashman12 - Prejudice Box Junior V2 - Bit lacking in weapons department. A lot lacking actually. More weapons would make this a good

Avalanche - Death Device - Not a terrible bot, although it probably can’t self-right well on its side. Contingent on how good the flippers are.

Badnik96 - Masher 2000 - Weapons aren’t terrible, although motors are rather exposed. (8000 HP yes, but if hit, they smoke and go slooooowww). Probably will gut-rip a few lesser bots.

Clickbeetle - Kheper - Probably the most rigid bot in the tournament. But c’mon Click! You call THAT a weapon!? Can’t see this going too far with that weapon.

Condor33 - Micro Phobik - Good sawbot. TWM3Rs a bit exposed, but not too much. Will probably have a good showing.

Craaig - BMMB-C - ummm… Interesting to say the least… We’ll see how this one turns out…

Doomkiller - Wizet - Only good if wedge is good. As far as I can see, the underside of this bot has just about everything exposed.

G. K. - 100% No BFE - If weapon motors weight too much, it makes weapons weak and it doesn’t matter how fast they spin. Can’t see this going very far.

H@zm47 - Shortsighted Surgeon - A little too long and skinny. Have a feeling the sides may get hit regularly. Also a bit lacking in the weapons department.

Jack Daniels - Haphazard 2 - Not the best wheels and I’m not a big fan of those Potter’s Wheels. Interesting design though. We’ll see…

JoeBlo - Whiplash Effect - May not have enough power. The “surprise” will make or break this bot.

Jonzu95 - Revenge of Dawn - This stalkerish robot brought to you by!...just kidding. Drive may be too fast and flip the bot, also the weapons are a bit lacking.

lloopp de lloopp - Face Gasher -  It won’t be gashing much with those sawblades. Drive may send it out of control in Haymaker-esque fashion as well.

LiNcK - DangerBox 1.9 - Predicting slow spinup. May have trouble self-righting. Not a terrible bot though.

Little lost bot - Danger Cube Axe Upgrade - *facepalm*

MikeNCR - Postmodern Cubism - Very good looking bot. About what you can expect from mike. Polycarbonate extenders may pose a problem though.

Naryar - Fallen Hero - Good Design, Well Built. Those Killalot spikes are kind of fragile though, and this will spin fast enough for that to make an affect.

The Ounce- Tunneler - Well built bot. Chance to do well.

Pwnator - Anti-Matter - Not totally sure what to expect out of this. Definitely chance to do well though.

RedlineM203 - Mobile Cube Grinding Device - Gut feeling says that this has something in it that none of us expect. Brain screams not enough weapons. Not sure enough to decide its fate.

Reier - Turbulence - Hammer placement exposes motors more than normal SnS, we’ll see how this affects it. Will also have freakish tendency to climb instead of knock away.

Douja Raze - Can see bots flying right over top of this. Front wedge looks steep, may also be too fast for its own good.

R0B0SH4RK - Schizoid - Interesting wedges. Want to see how this will turn out.

Russian Roulette - Grucho Marx - Proven Design. Extenders holding bars look exposed from the top though. Wedge helps too.

System32 - Prophecy - Could this bot be a sign of things to come!??! Probably not, but will kill some wedges. Popup fodder though.

Sage - CUBEZORZ - What the… Polycarbonate galore. Cannot see this doing well with that much exposed polycarb.
Scrap Daddy - Disturbance Strategy - Wedge would help this. A lot.

Somebody - SnSnS 3 - Slimbodys aren’t terrible for weapon motors, and 2500 HP too. Hell’s Hammers are also powerful (10000HP, Piercing and Concussion of 3, only 20kgs). Definitely spins quick and slimbodys get up spinning faster than you would think.

Squirrel_Monkey - Flail Monkey - Not enough weapons. Too many wheels. Can’t see this doing well.

Somestrangeguy - Crazed Fireman - Odd setup. We’ll see how those motors do though.

Stagfish - Kamikaze Cube’s - Awwwwwww… Like he was going to win anyways. At least it will be amusing to watch them die.

S.T.C. - Navi - Looks unstable, and needs a wedge badly.

TeamZOG - Spinny Cube Thingy - Not enough weapons. Nuff said.

Temi - Skeleton of Rambo - Slow motors look like they are mounted up for invertibility. Powerful weapons could grind a few bots away.

Thyrus - The Atilla Cube - Powerful, but can see this getting its wheels clipped right off.

TriTon - Critical X - Not sure what the DSL Bar does there. Fast rammer though.

Trumpetguy - Alphabet Without Letters - Well built FS. Would beat more than a few of these bots.

Urjak - Terminal Force - Can’t wait to see this in action. Not many forward- hinged flippers in tournaments these days. (or flippers at all for that matter).

Viper89 - The Devil’s Vortex - Gona be a bit tippy. Whats all this about Viper’s final tournament???
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

I'll be honest and say I've never heard of it.
Anyway... flipping power aside, your bot doesn't have much else.

RedlineM203 - Mobile Cube Grinding Device - Gut feeling says that thishas something in it that none of us expect. Brain screams not enoughweapons. Not sure enough to decide its fate.

What you see is what you get. It causes a lot of damage (atleast I think) but it all rides on the wedge.[/quote]
