Kepher has no terrible weapon setup... it's just highly specialized and fails against a non-shell, long-reach SnS.

Kheper is a wonderfully built robot and the AI is a piece of art too, it just doesn't fair to well with SnS robots,

hopfully in the next heat click gets a few battles that lets Kheper show its full potential

I think you two misunderstood what I was saying and also we might have different interpretation for (terrible weapon setups). I wasn't saying his bot was poorly built or anything about his AI, I meant that for the weight class and the type of weapons, the durability, and how many weapons he is using it dosent look or seem like it was the best choice. Basically what I'm saying is that if loses that weapon(I'm not sure what to call it) then he is out of luck because that's his only weapon " That's what I consider terrible, and like I said this is just my opinion I know people have different opinions on weapon setups and etc...... Also looking at heat 2 again it's actually Sys32 v.s Robo, Somebody has the buy( I read the bracket wrong my fault

What he entered is a servo clamp VS, and an entry for originality and creativity more than raw efficiency. These generally don't have a lot of kg's on their weapon because it's not supposed to touch the opponent's weapon, but "top-rip" him.

Who cares? A win is still a win.

Let's see where I stand...

I'm pretty sure my entry can beat Badnik's, and I doubt Redline's juggler is better than mine, but Trumpetguy's entry worries me slightly. The only other bots in my heat that I am worried about are Scrap Daddy's and R0B0SH4RK's. 123's entry somewhat worries me but my bot seems wide enough that it can "trip" it. I'm not worried about Fallen Hero or Antimatter because my entry did very well against them in testing :P.

Viper: dont have to worry Viper we were not having a go at you, just issuing our opinions of Kheper

Avalanche: your robot is pretty big im sure it will have no issues

Sage/ Naryar: there is a lot of VS robots in this heat which seem to end out of the arena the most... you can expect more KO's later in this tournament though

but really its just because your all used to the same old thing, its something new and different... think of it like the Robotica 1 on 1 battles.

What happened to the special AI mad was making? Face Gasher just chased Kheper, and didn't spin in the center like the AI does.

@Somebody: FBS_1_Central.py is essentially done, Madiaba has your robot and is working on getting it to run nicely on your robot (much appreciated)

LDL used FBSPlus (as Naryar said) which is what he opted to use for this heat.. I actually blame his success on the FBS/ FBSPlus strategy. I personally think its wouldn't be very good as a normal SNS strategy since saws lack concussion like hammers

right now its basically a gut ripper/ saw robot that circles around opponents grinding away at them.. something that FBS_1 wont do
