brackets for the first semi heat are up so make your predictions, tough talk, ragetoons or whatever

the 8 contenders have been split into the 2 heats so there is only 4 in each to keep it balanced

videos will come friday GMT+8 (so earlier for some time zones)

just to give you guys the update.. im throwing all my resources (aka free computer time) at Backlash for the next few days for obvious reasons (if its not obvious read the backlash page of robotarena.info)

heat 5 will start and complete next week

you can still aim for

number 9 seed
getting into the top 16 to enter the grand final heat
win the grand final heat
upset contenders chances :P
etc

since I haven't recorded any matches yet im going to make predictions

Doom > R0B0 - simply based on the fact doom won previously
JD > Red - I think JD has the better wedge here.. but could be close in this arena
Urjak > STC - same deal as Doom's match
JoeBlo > Nary - umm yeah.. normally I would say Nary but this arena plays more in my favour then Nary (famous last words)
Craaig > Click - if it can fend off Kheper without loosing that Perm it will win
Jonzu > Stag - Jonzu is doing pretty well in this tournament so far
Ounce > Badnik - another rematch so I predict same results
