So ive decided to re-jig this tournament slightly..

Rules are exactly the same, so there is no problems there but as you can see its been renamed (Potentially tacky pun intended)

With the fair lack of interest (and in the interest of preserving Clash Cubes history) I decided to cut my losses and run this a single standalone tournament and evaluate my options in a few months regarding running CC5.

So for now, we have 7 entrants.. most likely a byebot will be included unless someone sends me an entry in the next 24-ish or so hours

I's propably cause there are alot of new member who cought on the easier IRL building and thus nver build an sns before. I actually tried to build one for this and it sucked.
the old members who used to build stuff like that are inactive or gone for good. I could try to put something together tomorrow if you want.

Yeah I did wonder that.. IRL seems to be the way around here now.. (also DSL 3)

There is no hard feelings about me cutting this down.. Id just rather Clash Cubes be remembered for the 60 robot CC4 then an 8 Robot CC5.. thats why its changed to be a different tournament from the regular ones :)

i would like to see this going on. I reactivated Total Annihilation and no one really cares but thats ok. standart dsl touneys dont catch much interest anymore. kinda sad. and thats comming from one of the guys who pushed irl building

I still think a CC5 would be awesome, it might just be the SnS restrictions of this that are dampening things.
I'm currently trying to think of ways to encourage more DSL Standard and Stock tourneys to take place so I think it'd be a really good thing to have such a high-profile Standard tournament running. The last one was probably CC4 in fairness.

With all these big names entering I have the feeling that I'm gonna get so incredibly thrashed because of the idea I went with and overall poor SnS building skill it won't even be funny...

(honestly wouldn't care if one of you guys would like to replace the bot I built in the roster if we get too many entries, however improbable that is)

Well Thyrus just filled up spot #8

If you really want to give it a shot I can do 9 entrants (3 battles of 3 robots, winder of each goes into a 3 robot final)

Just have to build quickly :P

The only big name on the signups is Max, and besides Andy & Kurt, they're all newer than me.
