Congratulations to the winner
I mean it sincerely when i say everyone did great and made it really enjoyable to host. I appreciate everyone being respectful and very timely and would love to host another at some point in the future, but unfortunately have no idea when that will be. Up in the air if it's MW or LW. Maybe a Nova instead.
That being said, it's time to give out some awards to recognize the achievements of those you think deserve it. The categories are:
BEST DRIVER for who had the most driving skill, using their bot and the arena to their advantage the best.
BEST DESIGN for the most efficient, well constructed build.
INNOVATIVE DESIGN for which design pushed the limits of building and can inspire the building of others in ways maybe not considered before.
BEST NEWCOMER (RedAce, Code Red, Reier, UberPyro) for who you think the best newbie was by attitude, performance, etc.
BEST MOMENT for your favorite moment from a match.

BEST DESIGN Hell March. Great overall bot even though it's not super original. The sloped sides and low center of gravity helped a lot.
INNOVATIVE DESIGN Moldy Sponge without question. It really took everyone off guard how potent this goofy thing was. I unironically think people can learn a lot from this bot, it is a design that would absolutely suck in AI and it got runner up. PvP changes what is good. Take notes.
BEST NEWCOMER RedAce obviously gets points for winning the thing and being a fantastic driver, but I gotta give points to Code for his insane bot that very nearly won and took out a lot of tough competition.
BEST MOMENT Moldy Sponge just dark horse annihilating the reigning champion. Honorable mention when Code lost his plow in the final and allowed himself to escape immobility.

Best Driver- Redace, no matter what he was as aggressive as could be, and he controlled most every match he was in. I must say, he's ra2's Paul Ventimiglia
Best Design- Hell March, effective wedges, damaging, and it's hard to counter.
Innovative design- Moldy Sponge, spinner + wedge = success?
Best Newbie- Redace, since he won the whole thing.
Best Moment- the fight against Thrack, I was going "HOLY sh**" in both of those fights because I thought I'd just get flipped and killed
BEST DRIVER - gotta be redace, i mean, he won right
BEST DESIGN - redace again; Hell March combines the powerful VS wepon from Exactly Lethal with not being twenty feet long
INNOVATIVE DESIGN - obviously the sponge
BEST NEWCOMER - ohhhhh this is a hard one. Gonna vote for RedAce cause he won (sorry code you were great too)
BEST MOMENT - me getting my ass kicked by the sponge
BEST DRIVER As much as I want to include myself, that would kinda be rude and dishonorable really. Gotta give it to Code Red for just having a really good attack strategy for using the defense and offense excellently.
BEST DESIGN Damage Control. While I only lost to Code Red in one battle compared to Reier, this was a bot to really take my weapon out consistently with little issue. If it wasn't the Octagon being used, it might have kicked my ass.
INNOVATIVE DESIGN Moldy Sponge 2. Because of course a bot like this was so good at almost being an If Tombstone. Both in how it baits and eats wheels for breakfast.
BEST NEWCOMER Again, Code Red. By default I should have it, but I still don't think voting for myself is very sportsmanlike on my end, because he really was the People's Champion.
BEST MOMENT Moldy Sponge just being a dark horse and really surprising everyone. Honorable mention to the unrecorded practice match where he sniped a wheel, I crab-walked for my life, and still managed to win.
