This is my tournament idea. Basically, it will involve each of us rebuilding another's first showcased bot. It doesn't matter what weight class, as long as it is legal. Here are the rules:

- It will be HW, rebuild the bots to that class if they are not HW.
- It will be Stock
- I'm looking at 16 entrants at the moment, first come first serve, including myself.
- No BFE, AMM or ZeroG. BFE armour c will be enforced.
- While it's easier for me if you AI your own bots, I can AI for you if you want. Custom AI allowed as long as it isn't cheaty.
- Matches will be best of three, and there are some restart rules:
- 1 havok restart is permitted each round, after a second match-affecting havok I shall impose a disqualification.
- Unlimited restarts are allowed for bots getting counted out after getting stuck on components, getting stuck in the floor for no reason or the bots just spin in circles for ever.
- Multibots are forbidden.
- Custom parts and Cheatbot2 parts are forbidden. The only exceptions are custom smartzones, but only for AI'ing purposes. They may not be used for weight-adjusting or attaching components. Those new stock compnents released in the .cfz by 090901 are legal.
- All botlab glitches allowed.

The arena will be my Twiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisted Arena. Help on getting it to work with a .bmp map to give it more than plain colour would be greatly appreciated.

Now, I need 18 people to register their interest. The first 15 will gain automatic entry, and there will be a wildcard for the last spot, that I will be in. This is 1st come, first serve by indication of interest. Once everyone is in, I shall randomise the people and tell you what bot you need to rebuild.

Veterans of the old forums, when you signup, please post a name and picture of your first showcased bot from the old forum, if you have them. If not, we'll use the first one from GTM.

random.org, he will assign each person a number, randomise them and assign 1 the first number in the list, 2 the second etc. etc.

Honestly no. My first Stock bot showcased on this forum is Sir Robin the Brave for the King Of Karnage tourney. Which was made a couple of years after I first started playing this game. When I made my first showcase way back when, I put up 5 bots for people to look at.  The very first bot on the list was Windmill. I can put a pic of that bot in my showcase if you want. I still have it saved in my stock RA2 folder.

I have a few questions:
1) Are we rebuilding our own bots?
2) Does it have to have the same chassis? I might not have my first bot. :/
3) Does it have to be the same bot type? E.g- If you rebuild a HS it has to stay a HS

You don't have to use the same chassis. You just have to make it the same bot type.

i wish i still had Vulcan, but that was on my old hdd... ... ... which now makes me think, the old hdd is still in my house somewhere, i think. going to look tomorrow, might be able to recover it, along with other old bots i had, not sure but, i will look.

EDIT: looked and i had nothing there. well, to bad then.

Ok, I don't think I'm going to get anyone else. Signups are now closed, the wildcard will be three way. I will now randomise the bots, so in a minute you will all know what bot you have to rebuild.

Ok, here are the specifications:

Everyone, the best of luck. Send the bots to me when you're done, and try to skin them to match the original. If you can't, skin it to the best of your abilites.

Also, Bubbleman, if you're reading, good luck on rebuilding Rusted Syringe. Remember that it used three black batteries, three pairs of wheels on HP Z-teks, and three rows of pointy Iron Spikes, so three is the magic number to remember when building it.

Hey dude, check out the first post. You have to remake Windmill. (that was my first showcased bot on the old forum) Shouldn't be tooooo hard.  :P

To answer some stuff, you are REBUILDING not REPLICATING bots, just to clear up any mess. And I am allowing Sage in, I will rebuild his bot and Altitude is now his responsiblity.

You could have 1 moving mace and the rest can be static, but there must be at least one hammer.
