Title: Breaking Point - Signups
Post by: Philippa on October 20, 2013, 07:04:54 AM
I finally decided to try and do a tournament of my own.

Yeah, I know, totally un-generic name, right?

Weight - Middleweight
Realistic Rule - IRL Realistic
15 entrants. (See battle rules.)
One entry robot per person.
Only in game glitches are allowed -  eFFe Glitching, Axle Loading and Snapper Loading.
If you can't AI I will try me best to AI for you, just don't get whingey if your robot doesn't win.
You can't enter until I have received and accepted your robot.

BUILDING RULES

Only in game glitches are allowed -  eFFe Glitching, Axle Loading and Snapper Loading.

Just as a quick note, you'll have to show your entry in the above post before this goes to signups. :)

I'll be entering.

I'm actually annoyed, I just made a robot, but it's heavyweight. Even on the lightest armour, it's still heavyweight!

Is this the Tournament #1 arena, or #2?
(the one with the big spikes or the ones with the discs)
Title: Re: Breaking Point - Discussion
Post by: MassimoV on October 20, 2013, 12:02:06 PM
Yeah, I'll enter.

just so you know, multibots dont really work with 3 competitors. even if you have 1 team be the multibot, and the other team be the other 2 competitors, the MWs will just gang up on the multibots.

I believe the term is 'challenge accepted'.

Isn't this basically Rob's tourney then?
(either way I'm entering, but still it could use some variety)

Sounds fun. Would love to enter, but there are issues on my end.

Yes! Huzzah! I think I have finally made an entry!

Not at all.

Kurt has come up with his own (as far as I know, unique) format for the battles which he posted in the discussion thread, and evidently had enough good feedback for him to start it up.

How many tournaments have 15 robots in?  :laughing

The brackets are cool, but imo other than that it's basically Rob's tourney.

Y'know, I probably wasn't the first guy to use the format. Just enjoy the tournament.

so why do maz and rob get reserved spots again?
Title: Re: Breaking Point - Discussion
Post by: helloface on October 20, 2013, 03:42:39 PM
It says they expressed an interest.
either way I'm entering
*cough cough*
Title: Re: Breaking Point - Discussion
Post by: Merrick on October 20, 2013, 05:13:26 PM
so why do maz and rob get reserved spots again?

I sucked him off in a back alley behind a bar in Vegas a couple years back.

...

But yeah, expressing interest doesn't usually mean a reserved spot, Kurt?
Title: Re: Breaking Point - Discussion

And also, I'm not Mass'.
Title: Re: Breaking Point - Discussion
Post by: Philippa on October 21, 2013, 01:33:19 AM
I'll wait until signups to put who's expressed interest then. They aren't reserved spots.
Is there anything else should be changed?
