Hmmmm, I'm think about having 2 wildcard rumbles because i have enough bots and the top 2 from each rumble would then fight in another rumble and the top bot would move into the main tourney.

And since madman and RPJK trolled me by posting their bots in this thread, i got to figure out where their spots will be in a main bracket

So I lose my place to people who couldn't be bothered to send a pm and had to make 090901 wade through the thread's posts to find their robot? Unless i'm missing something. And iirc RJPK never even posted a link to his bot. Not in this thread anyway.
I know it's first come first serve like all other tournaments, and I would probably have gone out in the first round anyway. But still.

I do think that's a bit harsh on you and Fracture, personally. I think, if something like this happens, it should be judged by the time the host receives the bots, rather than when they are sent. madman said the Bot Exchange wasn't working, but he could have easily sent 090901 a PM with the link rather than a post, and RPJK could and should have done the same. I'm not going to blame anyone here, it was just a breakdown of communication, but I don't think it's fair that members should be bumped out of the tournament because others failed to properly inform the host.

I guess we have to choose between ordering entries by the time truly "sent" or by the time 090901 actually received them. Obviously you wouldn't restart a tournament in its finals because the host just noticed an extra entry...but this is a bit different.

since the rules dont declare PM only they may send by any means

also Wildcard means only 1 single match.. not a miniature tournament, sorry but thats just asking to be used to bypass the entry limit rules..

I guess I have to let it go now you decided to go ahead and let it be filled up but im not happy with people making there own rule changes..

I think there was always going to be some sort of problem due to the fact that so many people tried to enter for a 16 bot bracket. Coupled with the fact that 090901 is only human (At least I'm presuming he is) and is therefore not immune to mistakes. Oh well. C'est la vie.

Best of luck in the main bracket. Tell me what it's like there :P
