All right folks, NEW DEAL HERE:

It appears I once again underestimated the response for BBEANS entries. I am beginning to think that a full 64 entries might be possible.

BUT, I don't want to start with a 32-bot bracket and expand to 64 once it fills up. There is too much incentive for cheating that way *cough*system32*cough* and also some people who rushed to get in early *cough*venko*cough* might feel cheated out of extra time to work on their bot. This time I want to stick with whatever bracket size I say I'll do.

Therefore, I'm making an interest poll for BBEANS6. If there is evidence that 64 entries will happen, I'll use a 64-bot bracket. The poll should be up in a couple minutes. If you're planning to enter BBEANS6, make sure to vote!

back in this recently and saw BBEANS6 being made ready for the sign up. so i thought i might as well join in to show myself. but no flipper bot this time. i didn't come far in BBEANS3 with micro vulcan.

Search elitism. Besides, Those Bots are probably going to happen anyway, and are good in total.

Why?

1) They show the builder to get better. Nothing more helpful like an ego getting beaten badly.

2) They also show the potential of the other bot.

3) They fill up the bracket. Less byes.

4) We have 64 vets here? Where?

we haven't even hit 64 on the poll so I cant see what the debate is ? stop worrying about who is going to enter and get your robot done to ensure your place as soon as it opens

Anyway, I think that anyone has the right to enter this tournament, as long as those who enter build to the best of their abilities. Besides, there's another 6-7 weeks until signups start, which is plenty of time to build and test entries.

im going to agree too.. we owe it to click to all give it a good shot.

I know myself when someone says "I entered a fail robot for teh lolz" I feel a little sad its filling up that way, Im not saying I dont like original robots, entertaining robots or soemthing like that they are welcome but I dislike intentional fail (except KOK as that was designed for fun)

I've made a bot. Lightweight popup, yay! 3 Razors, 2 snapper wedges, same shape as DTK.
