I suspect if/when there's another bbeans, it won't be until after DSL3.0 comes out and will probably be the start of that generations set of tournaments.

probably. it would be most logical to then host a DSL3 tournament. but it might also become NAR AI if it suddenly contains a whole big load of custom components. and backlash is a possibility to keep in mind.

I am 95% sure Click will keep BBEANS to Stock and the official DSL.

I just cannot see a NAR AI BBEANS or Backlash BBEANS.

Stock is well ... the game (teehehe)

and DSL has become Clicks piece of work

I think DSL 3 is more complete then click is leading on.. I think it would be done come this time next year

Probably not. According to the rules major updates are pretty much accepted until just before the tourney when he AIs the bots. I would say you are safe TG.

Unless your bot totally pwns and would likely win... in that case I am afraid it is too late.

You can change your bot as long as I haven't AI'd it yet. Which I'm going to start doing now, since it's been a week since I opened signups (but it will be a while yet before I get to your bot).

As for this talk of BBEANS7 (I should have known it would start now) I honestly don't know what it will be yet. Some possibilities:

-Stock AW/BW
-Stock "Classic" (like AU-era bots. No glitches, no stacking, no Snapper II's or AI parts, no wedges except on flippers.)
-DSL3 MW or HW

It will probably be one of those but I haven't really thought a lot about it yet. It's still a long time in the future.

I would of been so happy if it was Stock MW for Seism 16, I think I would of had a shot at winning. :D
