I'm on a roll!  Winner's bracket quarterfinals and loser's bracket round 6 are up!


And we now have our final 8 bots.

Final Z is the only first-round loser still in this.  Actually it's amazing that there are ANY first-round losers still in this.


Death of Angels 2 and AntonYYYm are both second-round losers, which is also impressive.  And all three of these bots have the potential to go even further, I think.  (Either AntonYYYm or Final Z will get at least 1 more win.)


There are four veterans and four rookies among the final 8.  The winner's bracket semifinal is also rookie Virus Bomb against veteran Pwnator.  There are 3 flail HS's, 3 popups, 1 flipper, and 1 rammer in the final 8.  I couldn't ask for a more even distribution.     The championship is very much up in the air at this point.

There's definitely going to be an epic last few rounds to this tournament.

My predictions (probably wrong)

AntonYYYm beats Final Z 3-0 with 3 TKO's. Easily gets under the disc, flips it over, and then throws it OOTA each round.

Death Of Angels 2 beats Bane X 3-0 with 3 KO's. Bane X gets a few good hits in, but DOA2 just get underneath and hits the chassis every time.


Infection 4 beats Restful Princess 2 with 2 KO's. Restful Princess gets 1 KO, when it manages to take the angled panels off and get to the chassis, but the other times Infection 4 gets under RP2 and gets a couple quick hits to the chassis.


Death of Angels 2 beats AntonYYYm 2-1 with 2 KO's, AntonYYYm gets 1 TKO. First round, AntonYYYm gets under DOA2 and quickly flips it OOTA in two, but is unable to repeat that in the subsequent two rounds, and gets disposed of in a few quick hits by the popup spikes.

Death Of Angels 2 beats Restful Princess 2 2-1 with 2 KO's. RP2 gets 1 KO. DOS gets under RP2 in the first and second rounds, and hits the chassis until it dies, then in the third round, RP2 manages to take off the front skirts, and attack the chassis for a consolation victory.

Infection 4 beats Death Of Angels 2 2-1, with 2 KO's. DOA2 gets 1 KO. Infection 4 gets under DOA2's wedges for a quick win in the first round, then DOA2 gets under Infection 4 to pull one back, but Infection 4 manages to get the all-important final blow in the last round to become BBEANS 6 Champion.
