Needless to say I hope nobody attacks me from behind. I'm pretty good from the front with the flails though.

the original video recorded by FRAPS was over 2 GB in size because it lagged so much, the match lasted 18 minutes, i had to speed it up in videopad :ermm:

fraps tends to slow the matches down to a 10x longer than they should be

Windows 7 Starter (32 bit), with version 3.4.7 of FRAPS
is it bad that i only have 1 gb of RAM?
edit: oh btw i have it set to record 15 fps, but setting it to 30 fps or 50 fps doesn't seem to work

Post by: Jack Daniels on March 04, 2012, 08:31:51 PM: I found that with fraps if I change the screen resolution of Windows (not RA2) to something lower like 800x600 resolution and then change RA2 to the same resolution FRAPS is happier and screams like a banshee.

If you run Fraps while windows is in some obsurdly high res, it will bog down like crazy. I normally run windows in 1920x1080, and Fraps does not like that at all.... super slow.

More would be ideal, but my first computer that I recorded the early BBEANS matches on only had 512 MB of RAM, so 1 GB should be manageable. RA2 does not have very demanding system requirements.

Based on what you told me, I'm guessing you have one of those little netbook computers, which are not meant for gaming... maybe the processor isn't powerful enough? I'm not sure what kind of processors they put in those netbooks, but again RA2 isn't very demanding... I can't think of anything else that might help. Try JD's advice.

With hazards on I was actually worried against the Hs as my bots fairly flankable to hses lol ( i know that sounds bad)

in one of the recordings it actually did last longer than CINB!
...but then but then one of the bots havoked :embarr

ok so i managed to cut down *some* lag from the vids by reducing resolution, and i'll look into reducing the frames per second to cut it down to a regular 3 minute match

My bot's not a popup...

Stealth Destroya survived a lot longer than I thought. Venom definitely looked like it should've gone closer to the end of the match.

Was quite lucky that madman got taken out before he got to me. I didn't think I would be able to beat him. But I think I have a decent chance against RPJK with thise exposed motors and such. Provided I don't get kicked up too often. Good luck to him, though.

But yay, I made it to the final. =D Hopefully I can hold together a bit better than the others and pick up the win. I think Fracture will be the greatest challenge, but I do have more battery power than him, so I should last longer.

The AI messes up in that arena...near the end of match my bot just drove away from Click and stayed there. xD

Kurt Wylde vs. wakkydude was unbelievable, a very lucky win.

I reckon you and I are probably gonna be the last two, though, barring any unlucky incidents. Kurt's probably going to get his corners bashed up, we could take Mr. AS's exposed motors off relatively easily, then that leaves us to duke it out. Just remember I have the superior battery life. =P

I was really scared of time running out at the end and NFX winning with his double-my-amount of points!! My bot was having major mobility issues and wasn't really able to drive effectively.

That was a great match. Thanks to Kurt Wylde, NFX, and Mr. AS.

Random fluke? I'd ask you to test and see if it happens again on your computer but, meh, it doesn't really matter at this point.
