Ianh, watch the very second match (BW one), why the air supply progress bar is not shown properly for the BW with the air tank?

Could have something to do with the angle that it's placed, it doesn't fire fully when sitting still either. Perhaps you could do some tests and find out?

Pistons still fire with no tanks, but tanks make pistons stronger/powerful.

I just removed the tank in Jonzu's BW and I can't see it firing at all, however I placed a piston at an angle similar to Rob's BW and it fires very noticeably. I'd see the angle of the piston is the reason for Rob's BW firing without a tank.

Pistons do not fire without airtanks. However, they become free-moving when fired and if another force is applied on the axle it will move.

A piston angled down will fire without tanks, I tested this (mainly to remove any thoughts of cheating from Venko's mind

) and it works but it isn't really reliable as it will raise the front of the chassis up.
