probably a dumb question but are axle hs/rammers and regular hs/rammers allowed on the same team?

Yes, but the additional axle variations are available only for AW's.

AW variations, these are allowed in addition to the above basic types for AW's only to provide some more variation:

*Axle HS
*Axle VS
*Axle FS
*Axle Drill
*Axle Popup
*Flail/inertia bots.

Haven't been paying much attention to this thread.

Do I send each bot on its own or do I send the team folder?

So if I'm reading the rules right, the AW, BW, and LW bots are a lot more important than the MWs and HWs?

The matches are out of 5 battles, so if you win 3 straight matches only your AW, BW, and LW will be used.

*Best 3 out of 5 rounds using all 5 entries (1 bot per round starting with AW and HW going last).

There. It will go AW, BW, LW, MW, HW, so if you win three in a row, the last two won't matter.
Yes that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

They are all important, it's a best of 5 with the 5 most common weight classes. If you can win the 3 first rounds then yes you have won the match however if things are tight then your last 2 bots are the most important members of the team.

I'm sure most people here would rather have a HW match be the decider instead of an AW match anyway. This is to see who is the best at builder each weight class and different bot types.

Had to update my LW because I derped I didn't realise the irons could be classified as a wammer weapon and my HW is a rammer -.-

wait wat

are you serious

you could've just used the irons for holding the bot in place

or protecting the chassis

or you know, just ditch the rammer hybrid thing, because by your definition i can place a mace on an anchor to protect a motor and that already counts as a rammer

They weren't really ramming weapons because the bot is too slow anyway, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't in the cheat zone. You can protect a motor with an ice pick as long as it isn't faced out like it would be on a rammer.

2 days left.

So I can use maces and razors to protect the chassis rather than casters and it wouldn't be a rammer because the bot is too slow to ram?

Nah, the way the irons were on my LW meant they really weren't doing much more then holding a bot in place as the bot was to slow to wedge the opposition up into them at a decent enough speed to deal damage. The razor you had was doing plenty of damage because it was faced directly out and could easily hit the opposition.

Anything that is at an angle and in a position to do damage counts as a rammer. Hope this clears things up, this is why I changed my LW's setup because it's better to be safe then sorry.

I can AI if you want (I've had to for most teams so far) you only need to AI it yourself if it's a strange AI.
