Even though this has been suggested I just want to clarify...

did you lower the resolution for both Windows and RA2? I had massive lag in Fraps until I lowered the resolution for the Windows Operating system first (Go into control panels, change the screen resolution to something tame like 800x600)

After you do that open up RA2 and then go into the screen resolution settings and set that to match Windows (800x600)

The game will probably run in "windowed" mode, which is not full screen... but Fraps won't care really. Try recording with those settings.

From there, adjust the FPS rate in Fraps to suit depending on what quality you want.

It Worked! sort of. I mean the lag is a lot less but not completely gone. I figured out that there is absolutely no lag when I use other robots, but oh well.

EDIT: I finally figured it out, I had to do some research but I finally got rid of the lag. All 1st round matches of IRL will be up by the end of the week end.
