Title: 2 legit 2 Quit 2 Tournament

Well I had a little bit of a succes running my first tourney so I plan to make this one even better. Plus I'm starting to like IRL

Rules for the IRL Division
1. DSL HW IRL Rules
2. I can AI but it is a lot easier if you just do so yourself
3. Will be recorded with ZD Soft game recorder (exactly like fraps)
4. 8 Entries
5. Double Elimination
6. (possibly) skinned DSL tourney arena
7. No BFE AAM, etc
8. Arena Hazards On
9. No in game glitches
10. No pop ups jugglers or crawlers but ather than that all bot types are allowed
11. Multi bots are allowed max weight for each is 400 kg Combined max is 800 kg you have to beat both of the bots to beat the multi bots
12. deadline will be one month after this is in the sign ups
13. bots can be upgraded ONLY once
14. No hax mode
15. no stacking
16. One havok match is restarted TWO havoks and the bot that caused it will be disqualified
17. I will not be entering this time
18. Metal hinges ARE allowed
19. Judge bursts ARE allowed
20. best two out of three
21. 3 miniute matches

I'm gonna do it like Frezziez did (if that's ok with G.K.) which is if there is not enough entries by the time i want to get started then you can enter both divisions but until then only 1

Open spots will be filled with byes

 
So any thoughts suggestions and if so please tell. I am very open to changing the rules if I feel it is right

I think there is so much because it reminds people of Battlebots and robot wars. That's why I like them.

This. There aren't any general DSL tournaments going on, and I have a ton of bots built specifically for those.. :/

I'm gonna add a new poll to see if this should be IRL or generic DSL also a diffrent option for two 8 entry hw divisions. one IRL and 1 Regular

I was actually planning to do that for my next tourney but lets not think that far ahead.

I've decided to make this a two division style tournament witj one being IRL and the other being generic because there wasn't an enourmous diffrence between the votes and this like i said before everyone wins. If you want DSL IRL then enter that on and if you want Generic DSL then enter that one :)
 
EDIT: new poll added regaurding the size of each entry maximum.

As long as the bot doesn't become unrealistic it's fine. My bot used the Trov Glitch.

He neither has a way, neither has the skill, to see if people used axle loading or snapper loading.

He means no glitch use at all, but who cares if someone builds with glitches as long as it's not blatantly unrealistic.

You know naryar has a point. But since this is not a Major tourney I think it's fine as long as it is to keep the bot realistic. But if it is too much of a comotion then I'll have Massimo send me over another bot. So tell what you think.

you send bots by zipping them then using the file host thing and upload them and then send them right?

i think my bots are going to do horrible but they look IRL so its fine i guess lol.

It would be unfortunate if it was. What I'll do is I'll lock it for the time being, and keep it in here. If nicsan was to return and offer a good explanation as to what happened, then I'll reinstate it again. If not, I'll move it to Completed Tournaments.

Since the deadline has passed, and he's not been here for a couple of months, I'm going to lock this for the time being. If he comes back and explains himself, then I'll open it up again. It is a shame, but there's no reason to keep it open if the host isn't here.
