I've been wondering about that. What's the difference between a Psy popup and a normal popup?

A pyscolone Popup is basically a test of chassis space management. You need 2 HPZ's with Rubber Wheels, 2 Blackvolts, 3DDT's, a Small Wedge, 8 Razors and DSA armour. To get them all on, you need your chassis to be as airtight as possible around the components.

A popup is a bot type. A Pyscolone popup is a specific type of popup among many. In this case, it's one with 3 DDTs, DSA...you know the rest.

So this is a frost giant ? Hmm. That names strucks me as a heavier weight class name. Oh well.

If I were you I would simply use two 20cm's for each weapon extender work, save 4 kg and use these 10kg on making a larger chassis, so the wheels are inside and the chassis has more HP.

Now for the guys that don't know how to post in the showcases or don't think before posting...

Kurt Wylde has earned 10% warning for an entirely useless post.

A popup is a bot type.

Don't you think he knows that ? He specifically said his bot was a popup.

First attempt at a Psy popup, I'm not very good at chassis shrinking so I decided to remove the chassis from the equation.

I seriously couldn't get that second supervolt in but there's enough weight left for it and I left gaps around the first battery to make sure it would fit.

Erm, that's a hammer, not a pop-up. :P
Those DDT's are awfully exposed and will fall off REALLY easily and havok.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Well the original design is good, no doubting that. Those spikes are formidable weapons. However, I think my design is better, because not only does it have the spikes, but it also empowers the driver with the ability to create destructive havok explosions on a whim.

In an AI tournament, ones that we run here on GTM, if your robot causes a havok bomb twice in a match, the chances are it will be disqualified. So havoking isn't really a good thing, you want your bots to be stable.

Nope, it's not as good. If a HS or rammer hits one of your motors hard enough, you lose half of your weapon rack, or even your whole rack.

Also the slope is too steep for being a good popup.

I made that post too subtle, I think. Oh well. @#$% 'Em Up II is up to two racks of Zteks with 10 on each rack, so 20 motors. It's very quick and surprisingly maneuverable, but none of the arenas are big enough to properly test it. With the help of the eFFe glitch my projected maximum of Zteks is now 120. It takes a couple of minutes to load at 20, though, so I doubt I'll get that far.

EDIT: Also, a quick vid of the bot mentioned above, showing its speed in the Starcore Arena.

I am jealous of the framerate in your game recorder.  Which one are you using?
