Title: Yoshis bots :D
Post by: Yoshi64900 on July 19, 2009, 11:17:13 PM
Hey guys, im yoshi64900. Im k3's brother, and i used to play RA2, and stopped. I decided to build a bot.. Its unnamed for now, and i never got to skin it. It weighs 549.8 kgs, and i had the idea for something like this long before i ever saw something like drumblebee or any of the other drums.

Its a basic drum with stacked blacks.

I dont see much way to improve without copying DrumbleBee's design... but it definitly needs improvment. I might go for 4wd and just more weapons.. widen wedges, frontal protection.

Moar minionbeetlez!

Drumblebee is kinda easy. Try Drumblebee 2's design. :D

Ok, now I see the pictures. That could definetly use 4WD and Dumblebeetles weapon desing and some armor for the exposed front chassis parts.

Thanks for the advice, guys. Im working on a new model of it now. But for now, i just finished a remake of a bot a built a while back. Its a side hammer/ rammer, named RYNO.

First of all decent looking bot but always try to build to the weight limit. Also does that have stacked black batteries? If not then you really do need to get 1 or 2 more in there somewhere. As well as that I'd replace the three rows of razors with 2 rows of irons as irons have much more HP and are better for ramming.

He told me he forgot to stack the black before he showcased it, but he will I'm sure, and that will use up most of that weight.

It does in fact. He beat all of the Ratchet and Clank games for the PS2. All I beat was deadlocked...

RYNO would be great with a better side hammer setup and a wedge.

I knew it!

Deadlocked is the easiest game BTW, easier than Ratchet and clank 1.

And Inf, Ryno honestly would be a better name for a really good bot IMO...
