Made the wedges wider, and turned the razors 90 degrees.

i tested it against V4 melstorm, and wins about 85 percent of the time i'm driving it. Do you think it can take down a mace 36HS with castor armour? it still packs a whallop even if there is caster armour.

How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

My Entry:

I used grannies because i would have a choice with shinies:

A: sucky wedges
B: only 2 wheels touching

Bracket wedge is for when a bot tries flying over the top. I made the wedges wider, tilted the razors 90 degrees, and removed the blades so i had weight for the anchor and bracket.

Comments?

I would advise removing the bracket, and getting the blades back on. If one of your wedges gets taken off on a lucky hit, that'll severely hamper your ability to get under your opponents. The bracket wedge will in all likelihood hinder you actually getting close enough to your opponent's chassis to damage it, and probably just get taken off very quickly anyway.

I've tested the blades, and they don't do what they're supposed to do, even if i make them longer. Remember, i'm fighting a 36HS, so wedges aren't my highest priority unlike other popups. I've tested the bot without wedges on other HS's (Manily Spin Doctor and Maelstorm.) and it can still ko them because of the positions of the ramplates. That's why i can't use shinies, because the ramplates would move the shinies of the ground, so it would save weight actully to add the bracket, for many times bots go over it, and flank me. I've already PM'd Dragonfire my entry, so all i have to do is watch, and root for a win.

Use one black, replace the inner bear claws with razors, narrow the drive by attaching it on a 20/or40 cm shorter extenders, so it can be inside of the circle of the spining weapons. You don't need a HP drives for a MW bot if You ask me. With the weight left, upgrade to DSA, and think of some way to make this invertible.

replace the inner bear claws with razors
With all the weight he gets from removing one of the blacks, he should just make them maces.

that looks really havoky. and why no dsa, but you have 2 blacks and 2 snappers? that doesnt make sense.

yes change the inner claws to maces, your setup wont dish out much damage ATM because of those claw normals.

Can someone help me make a 36HS chassis with 2 blue snappers and 2 stacked blacks? I just spent half an hour failing at it.

What exactly do you need help with? If you're building a classic AC style 36, the biggest trouble you should have is making sure your setup is a maximum one extender off the snapper, otherwise it's pretty easy.

on the chassis i tried either it was too small and the collision meshes were colliding, or it was too big. Can you help me get a general shape?

Sure.

The basic 36HS uses 2 Snapper II burst motors, 2 drive HPZteks, and 4 Weapon HPZteks, with 9 weapons on each tribar.

If you use the generic weapon setup (two 20cms off then end of the tribar, one facing out and one facing down) then you can only use ONE extender off of the Snapper to attach your weapon motors, or else the rule of 7 will defeat you.

Before you even enter the bot lab, make sure you can do these things:
1. Stacking black batteries/SnapperIIs
2. Effe Glitch
3. Snapper Load

Now, it IS possible to make a 36HS without snapper loading, but the only designs me and Inf could come up with were Absolute Chaos and ULTIMATUM. So, learn to snapper load, unless you wanna clone.

The 1st step is planning your design, IN YOUR HEAD. Calculate how much everything will weigh based on the design you come up with, to see how much your chassis has to weigh. Then go try and make that chassis. If the chassis is too big, it's a bad design, and you start over.

The general chassis shape can really be anything that will fit 2 snappers. So even a square works.

Tips:

Put the batteries in last, else you might screw yourself over when you accidently release your snapper loaded extenders.
Try and clone one of the previously designed 36HS first. This will help you get your bearings on what needs to be done.
Be prepared to have your patience tested.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Good news and bad news.       Good news, I just finished building an Iron Spike 36HS based off one of CB's bots. Bad news, Ra2 crashed before I could save it.  :vista: Should I try rebuilding it from the ground up? I put like 3 hours into it.

Have you tried recovering it? If you haven't tried creating a new bot where the last one was then you can sometimes grab the bot file from within the Teams folder.
