I would advise removing the bracket, and getting the blades back on. If one of your wedges gets taken off on a lucky hit, that'll severely hamper your ability to get under your opponents. The bracket wedge will in all likelihood hinder you actually getting close enough to your opponent's chassis to damage it, and probably just get taken off very quickly anyway.

What exactly do you need help with? If you're building a classic AC style 36, the biggest trouble you should have is making sure your setup is a maximum one extender off the snapper, otherwise it's pretty easy.
