I angled them like that, but now the wedge is in midair. Is it really worth it?

My first bot that I used the eFFe glitch on.

not too bad, try using the middle attachment points on the disc and face the extenders out that way you can put 1 iron on the disc and 2 on the extender like this:

Irons>  | |   |
disc >  O----- < extender

Been lurking for a bit, and I haven't done anything for a while.

So, quick story. I recently downloaded EMERGENCY for fun, and when I saw how much empty space he had, I decided I'd try improving him.

So, here's False Alarm, a Middleweight flipper:

He may not look like much, but look at what he was able to do:

Yep, he has the capability of destroying a Pop - up. Whaddya think?

How something that crap can be capable of doing that is just plain luck. I've seen LW's with the same bursts.

Could have been more tactfully put.
But you want more bursts at that weight.

Not really.

if he's taking the weaponed flipper approach, 2 ddts is fine.

GENERIC ADVICE: Shrink the chassis and get more weapons.

Giving it a sloped front would also help, so the weapons will more easily hit stuff.  Like a wammer.

I've been meaning to show this off for a while:

It has DSA armor, and it's very resistant to most wedges. It spins up to speed very quickly, so most bots don't stand a chance against it. Probably the best bot I've made so far.

Use round extenders rather than angle connecters by using the control points on the side. Otherwise that's an OK bot, looks like Bee Keeper or whatever it's called.

You mean Possessed Bee.

Extenders can't fit exactly in line with the side ones, but I bet if I were to angle them diagonally, I could get away with it.

Try eFFe glitching, Sage made a tutorial video if you need one. That should allow you to get them with equal reach without wasting too much weight.

I can imagine it'll be quite unbalanced, just because of how the axle mounts are laid out on top of the disc. Try to have them all facing the same direction, so that it looks the same when it's rotated. As you have it now, it's symmetrically linear, whereas it should have rotational symmetry.

Take a look at Scrap's flail HS he made recently

Stock flails? Stock flails.

See how he put double razors on each axle?  Do something like that and you can have the same amount of weapons but half the axle mounts (which comes to a total of 88 kgs saved).

Scrap did that with the eFFe glitch, by the way.

Your bot does look good, it's only a little inefficient with the number of axles.
