Tried out a new weapon setup on Evisceration.
The wedges are very good now and the bot has more killing power, but I need to find a way to protect the weapon motors more.
And a clone.
Plastic, and nifty.
Suffering from builder's block right now.

I don't think I like the way you attached the weapon motors on the HW. Seems like a waste of weight and more vulnerable to attack.

Attach both motors to a Blue snapper in the middle. Make sure the Z-Teks are close to each other and face each other so the discs and razors protect some of it. Then with the extra weight do whatever you want.

Plastic. I made this a couple of days ago, but I didn't showcase it because I didn't like it for some reason. The wedges a slightly better than Synergy's. The skin isn't mine.

Move the baseplate anchor off center and attach two extenders pointing sideways instead of the T-Connector to save a kilo.
OR attach both the plow and weapon extenders to one anchor and get under 390 for Z-Tek drive. You can use the T-Connector for the second method. This method is easier to pull off to get the faster drive.

Went to do some changes on Death Wind.
I moved the bracket wedges further back so the weapons could stick out more, and switched to shinies. It still isn't as wedgy as I want it to be.

I think the way you have the motors attached is doing more harm than good...

Shorten the wedge blades until you have 8kg in excess weight. Then attach an extender to the anchor and point it upwards using the side AP. Then attach another one to the extender's bottom using the opposite AP. Then attach your DDT and wedge there. Not sure if it breaks the rule of 7, but as far as I know wedges closer to the ground are wedgier than elevated wedges with the inverted small wedges. :D

I mean the drive motors. Like Pwn said, having elevated DDTs like that hinders wedginess.

I don't feel like posting this, but I might as well.
2 blacks, dsa, 16 irons.
I wanted to make a wide 4wd VS with y connectors. Does good, but I will try to see if I can make it wedgier. It probably might be better if I just stacked the batteries.

It's actually fine that way. If you are using DDTs for wedges it should be plenty wedgy. Try adjusting the wedge height more and see what works best.

I would of made the wedges slightly longer by 1 extender but that's just a personal preference I guess.

Do the weapons on Evisceration spin up or down?
FB actually made a bot quite similar to Death Wind, but he also had problems with wedges. The wedges SHOULD be great with the tilted-down chassis, but it's harder to do than you think...
Malevolence is cool, but the MW VS looks rather unstable.

The weapons on Evisceration spin up. I don't know why it's hard to get good wedges on Death Wind, with the tilted down chassis. Was FB's bot a VS?
The MW is actually pretty stable. Those side extenders help out.

Bots looking good, especially Malevolence.
Don't like messy-ness of Death Wind, though.

Sweeeet. Worried about the anglers, though.

Attach a plain extender instead of using anglers, then fiddle with the remaining weight.
