Make the width of it shorter to minimize chassis space.

How would that help him? Larger chassis = more HP and if he cant do anything with the weight it's better to keep the open space.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

That much space won't save him from getting KOed. If anything, it's better to be a smaller target.

It might be just enough, while you cant really be a smaller target with that little chassis tweak. Plus, wider is usually better. And the bot weighs more, making his wedges better.

It's not enough when the bots now are overloaded with weapons and feed off of any exposed chassis. It MAY happen but the chances of that are very very slim. These days, bots take a couple hits to a chassis and the fight is over so that little amount of HP wouldn't mean much. The weight statement would also be false because the weight is in the back forcing the wedges upwards.

I'd make the wedges longer by 20cm but it doesn't matter really.

Yes but the black extenders were facingin the wrong direction & they are really hard to rotate accurately

No because:
1) The snapper2s allow me to move the vs's so that they intersect other components
2) Burst motors make motors spin faster (apparently)

The snappers don't work as a srimech, the vs's work as a srimech by themselves

It's easy, black extenders are hexagonal prisms, meaning all you need to do is get the lightshining on the end of it and you can see each side perfectly.

OK, working on my first decent (hopefully) horizontal spinner
But its all going wrong - help please!

OK, I start off with two extenders off a Snapper2 as shown:

I then effe 3 HP Z-Teks onto the extenders. I then enter the practice area & return to the bot lab.
Look what it looks like now:

Why does it do this & how do I fix it?

Infiniteinertia built Absolute Chaos.

And on a Snapper II, the back AP acts like a servo AP. It goes back to its starting position always. Attach the extender where you want it THEN rotate it.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time
