...so what happens when #2 runs into a flipper...
...it just seems like anything with a wedge would kill it. Or a flipper...
Wrong, I would put a wedges on that bot, if it shows on the tests that it needs one.
You can't go under something that have TIMES heavier front side than You.
Go watch PitA8 vs ItI, and tell my why a bot with wedges can't go under one without.
Also, if we divide all the bots weights by 29,5045 we get:
#1 AW-101.8
#2 HW-800.0
#3 AW-106.9
#4 BW-129.1
Even if all this AWs team up as a multi bot, I can't see them going under a HW rammer bot.
Next time before posting, build by yourself a 23 tone bot and test it how it performs vs. wedges.
Lets say You built "somehow" a flipper capable of throwing it in the air.
(You will need about ~50 rupt glitched DDTs stacked in almost one spot for a start, just to slightly raised my bot above the ground.)
You can't WBP in a endless match, also You can't win by either destroying it due to the casters on the bottom.
And imagine this thing landing with the irons on You...
Also, a two wedges only will not last a long in a UHW battle in general.
I made a pic for You, displaying what happens when a wedge robot try to get under my bot :

------------------------------------------------------
You will quit, even if You need only to wire it, or to deattach all the components backwards.
The lag when placing the components is horrible (due to the calculating of the collision meshes of above 2000+ parts).
People can't understand how good and patient You must be to build something like this, 'cos they never built something like this.
It has to be "simple" rammer, 'cos any other type 23 tone bot will overkill your CPU with a AGOD and havokness.
Plus it's hard to build a 23 tone HS for example.
------------------------------------------------------
...Actually 2 still has a better drive-to-weight ratio than 3. But yeah, 1 should still be faster...
I was expecting very poor entrants, that's why I wrote "best DtoW".
In general IRL, the drive-to-weight ratio is for acceleration, "faster" is for speed.
Anyway, I'm not afraid of this, 'cos in RA2 the pushing is most important :

100 WD anyone?
------------------------------------------------------
Also, I want to inform some members, that the comparing between my bot and HoJ is stupid.
The one have custom components, the other is pretty legal stock bot.
------------------------------------------------------
...I don't think it's very visible on 1 or 2...
If You can barely see the skin of a bot (not due to lame splash), this is an enormous compliment for the bot, it means it don't have weak spots.
------------------------------------------------------
Now I will comment the entrants :
#4 Second best bot here, I voted for him.
It will rape the other two weak bots.
#1 and #3 I can't say which one will win, due to the lame splash of #1, but they are both "meh".
I even have doubts, is #3 can even actually lift up something to the VSs.
#2 :
https://gametechmods.com/TournamentFiles/botm/april13/002.png

If You can see the infinite sign clearly, You are screwed...
You don't know how much dmg this wall of irons do.
It took me eons and a lot of nerves to built it, that's why it's the first time You all see something that epic.
It loads for 2 hours on pause in the bot lab.
I never saw a records in a bot, imagine that much of a records.
Everyone feel free to ask me stuff You want to know about that bot.

yours was definitely a close second for me, I just felt like the idea of an impossibly armored UHW was an obvious concept. Barring your responses to individual comments, all of which I understand where you're coming from, your argument is simply that since your bot was way way way heavier than the others, that makes it superior which isn't necessarily the case. Just because yours is the most uber of the uberheavyweights doesn't mean it's the best by default. UHW is defined as anything above SHW to infinity, and the other bots fit into that category just fine.

I respect and appreciate the amount of time it obviously took you to build this, I just liked 2 a little bit more.

I already talked to you about this in messages, BOTM is not about who wins it's about a mix of a number of things..

1. Combat effectiveness.
2. Uniqueness.
3. Splash work.

1. Yours obviously is the most effective bot of the 4.
2. Yours is a rammer, that's all there is to it. Most the time if a basic rammer enters any other weight class BTOM it would lose too.
3. Yours was neatly presented but so was #3.

You have to understand that just because you build the biggest possible brick doesn't mean you win by default, people like myself want to see more unique designs. If your AW Tick went up against this UHW in a battle the UHW wins all the time but in a BOTM contest your AW is much more unique and appealing to most people.

I don't doubt how tough this was to build for you, heck I don't even try to build SHW. You had 2 options, go for the biggest brick possible or create something that weighs less but is more unique.

You won with the brick but you could have won by more with something like your UHW trap bot because it's combat effective and much more unique in design.

In regards to it not being able to be lifted, if you remember Robo Zone 2 my AW drum with 1 pink and a RAD weapon motor actually lifted up the box! from memory the box is a middleweight so I have doubts that your bot can't be lifted by anything else.

You really need to understand that I and others wanted to see unique designs, that's why people usually build SHW-UHW in the first place... because they can't build what they want in the normal weight classes. If Absolute Chaos entered a BOTM against something more unique like Click's Slaying Mantis it would lose too.

I fully agree with ian, just sayin'

It's a hilariously heavy UHW, yes, it breaks the most records, yes, it's uberstacked, yes.

So ? People want to see cool, original things in BotM. With combat efficiency being only a plus, made to choose between equally cool bots. That's why I found it bland and I said "trying too hard".

What Conraaaaaaaaaa, I can't hear You from up there, You are way too down there with all the mortals...  :yaya)
Hey, You all don't meet the requirements  :laughing
Joking, feel free to post.
*Trololo guy song*  :trollface
Fooooools. You all have been pranked by a master prankster.
I should be an actor, lol, I even got -2 rep. for this well played performance.
I mean come on. Really? The guy famous with his UHWs says on 1 april, that he will not build them again, even when he won?
I even leave You clues in the huge post, but no one found them. (one example: I'm bitching about my bot is the best, but I voted for #4, come on...)
If I wanted to win for sure, I could just dramatically increase the weight limit in the rules.
How to make the perfect 1st april fool prank:
-Throw a lame prank at first, so people will think that this is the prank (the false pic).
-Tell a friend what You are gonna post early (why I would say otherwise to Iahn what I'm about to post, instead of just post it).
-So he will go and post stuff to me about this, which will look like this is real.
-Make a big teatro drama post to sound even more real.
I was thinking early for what prank to set up, but lying about me leaving didn't sound like a good prank, that why I thought of not building UHWs anymore.
So, foooools..., no way I quit building my favorite bots, not in this omniverse...
The only real thing in the big post maybe is the proving part about not going under my bot that easily, anyone remember PitA8 vs. ItI?
Look at my rage post, about the GTM login error, bad grammar and typo, rage smileys, and here You even get a more proper grammar, nice pics and so...
Yes, The Infinite FE is an epic bot, even I deserve a small fear rating increasing for an epic bot like this, but of course, that I can build a better bot that can beat this.
I set up this joke to show people, that judging people is hard, on the internet even more.
People are not some of your DSL bots to judge is it IRL or not, people are harder to judge, so let this be a lesson to people like Conraaaaa and Craaaaaig that feel the need to be "the supreme people's judges around".
They both even take a side when I have "things to do" with other guys around, what happened between me and some other members is between me and them, which is a disturbing acting by them, since the other members can just complain about me to an admin.
Avoid judging each other on GTM, You can be wrong, and no one is "above" the others to judge them...
I must apology to my friends which posted here, sorry guys this was a too harsh joke maybe, I just wanted to make my point, how people can be misleaded in their judgments about people.
So don't judge people at all, keep this for the bots.
I also understand pretty well the points that kill343gs, Ianh and Nar posted, of course is this way.
Also, my apologies to Nar, if the pedo stuff was way too "messing around with a bud".
Now back to the stuff.
Anyone want to play "guess the setup" on this one?

It's not a good bot tho.

You posted it on April 2nd. So excuse me for believing it.
It was 1st april in my country and in GTM when I posted it...
My post edit must have changed the date to today (2nd).
Logout, to see that the GTM time when loged out is different from the UK time when You are loged in.
Strange...

Craaig's apology accepted, respect for saying it gained too, I will try to act less "big deal" and avoid boasting, 'cos I'm a little that kind of a person...
To avoid stuff like in the "general tournament discussion" to happen again.
Under "judging" I mean "poking your nose in other guys business".
Just an example: do You see me, messing and - rep-ing the gang that make a prank to the poor Hu.An. and stolen his pass?
I don't mess in other guys problems, there are an admins for this.
That, was what I wanted to prove with my harsh PMs, posts in the threads and this april fool joke.
Also, avoid the "double standard" thing, it's a douche act, example : some guy release an awesome tool and You +rep him.
Some other guy also release an awesome tool, but You don't +rep him.
That is an unfair act, and this makes even more problems on the forum, 'cos the not +rep-ed guy will think that they hate him, and a flame wars will happen more often.
Let's just hope, that You and some others get my point in the right way.
People are maybe hard to judge, but people can change.
I was sworn enemy with Inf, even had it on "grudge with" in the Wiki, but now...?
So You must give the peoples a chance to change, with the right tools.
Ganging up on them will always make the thing worse for both sides.
This is not a school, where the "cool group" gang up on someone for being different.
So be more patient with people that are different, and it will repay You.
For example, I'm working on releasing of an another cool texture pack (better this time).
You can use it with great success even on DSL, but this would never happened if I was pissed off.

I have honestly never tried to gang up on anyone, being around this place for ages has made me just say my opinion when I feel the need. Also, whenever I see something +rep-worthy, I do try to make sure that person is respected for it.
I guess recently we have all come across very harshly and badly to each other which I never liked or wanted, honest. I need to learn to hold my tongue round here, and you may want to (if you feel the need) make the changes you suggested for yourself.. if you get my drift.
Also Jonzu you really aren't helping matters.

but people can change.

THIS, is false. Don't be silly, people never change. A bi-polar guy on another forum I'm on was banned years ago for overreacting to everything, he claimed he wanted to change and tried to. He came back, and did the same as what he did prior to his ban. Granted, this is just one guy, but still, people never change.
