I'll post a few I have.

Tried to keep it close to the original. Bottom is fully caster armored.

I know it would be better with the zteks flipped, but that's kinda dumb.
-
This is pretty much the only one I have right now. I might have done more back then but I don't have the time to rebuild them all after a hard drive wipe.

Sorry to hear about the hard drive wipe. I have felt that pain a few times over the years. Thanks for doing Jupiter and keeping it to theme.
Happy to work it in, when you are able to send it to me.

an old rebuild for cideous that i forgot to send to mr as when he asked me for my rebuilds. needs to be reskinned but it's pretty stable for a bot with four chained spinners.

That Cideous is nice.

795ish kg

Just linking this here in case inspiration is lacking or something. I was checking out S_M's review of the bots and looked for Scrap's Ultraviolet rebuild.

I tried to be as faithful as possible, but i just need to find out how to import skins and it's 100% complete.

I thought Super Carnage had flails. I guess it didn't.

ummm
almost no-one uses flails in stock because the only free axle stock has is the 360 one which isnt good for flailing (unless you use it in a very specific build)

I know, I was just mixed up two different spinners in my head. One of them had flails, it's on the happy bees team.
Edit: It's called The Posessed Bee. I was rebuilding because I just got my computer.

Edit 2: roughly rebuilt. 16 irons, 8 razors, DSA, stacked supervolts.

aaaare those ramplates attached in some fashion to the wedge?

Yes :/
It needs some changes.
-
too many ramplates, razors are pretty terrible as well, wedge should be longer, and i would personally get some weapons ontop of the discs too.
-
(https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/59525V2.png)
Prolly gonna change it again after I'm done. A new chassis could net me a iron on the wedge I can use as a keepaway tactic. I'm also tempted to change the top of the discs again. The original wasn't very mobile when inverted either.

IDK what I was thinking either.
-
i'd say put maces ontop of the discs and theres gotta be a way you can mount the ramplates not on wedge snapper

He's probably trying to keep the two robots similar. Speaking of battleaxes...

I'm most likely going to end up placing irons on instead.

I think it would be better for the bot to have a V-shaped front, since it clearly wants to grind out the opponent with the flails, so with a V-shaped front it can actually hold the opponent and do what it wants to do.Yeah it's not really faithful anymore, but the OG Posessed Bee is really bad conceptually so IMO it needs a full remake to be able to keep up with the rest of the pack.

I think it looks good, probably because you deceptively rotated those tribars. The spinners need some more distance away from the wamming rack so the axes can get some action.
I was really surprised to find Alien Predator isn't on the Alien Invasion team; in fact Team SpaceStation is pretty much just Orbital Launch Team rehashed.
-
Gemini is not with us anymore. This was a case that the bots were decent enough but nothing distinctive. Things like the bot named Alien Predator was his choice and nothing particularly wrong with it so I didn't force a change.
Is a case of if people vote to remove/replace the team as not competitive then so be it. I realize the other option is to rebuild many/most of the bots to be modern competitive.

1 question,
Can we just submit our remakes to you right away or should we wait for your approval before sending it to you?
-
You can send right away. Please use the naming system we mentioned for the Rebuilds.
Thanks,

I am out of practice making screen shots but thought you would all like to see and comment on the updated T-800 Terminator (WIP):
(https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/48696T-800 Terminator 2017.jpg)
(https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/16051T-800 Terminator 36HS Maces 4 Casters 1 Plow.jpg)
Type: HS
Weight: 796.9 Kg
Weapons: 36 Maces
Power: 2 Blacks
Armor: DSA + Front Plow + 4 Casters
(If move Casters further forward it wobbles pretty badly)
Chassis: Pretty darn close to air tight
Invertible: Yes
AGOD: No
Vertical stacks of 4 Maces protect their extenders and give a wider sweep to hit low profile bots like Pop-ups.
Reduced from 4 Ramplates to 1 Plow + 4 Casters but was able to grow 9 more active weapons.
Reviewing battle videos I noticed:
1) Needed belly casters and lower sweep weapons versus Popups.
2) Versus bots like Absolute Chaos, the only solution seemed to have as many weapons.
Comments?

Looks good, can't think of anything to make it better. Nice.
-
Thanks, Sage! Coming from you as one of the originators of the 36HS that is high praise.
I know I took a different road with 3 HP-zteks and 4 weapons per tribar arm than most. (Took hours and many RA2 crashes to load up).
And from what I have seen many 36HS have no bonuses like invertible (needed grannies vs shinies to pull that off), belly caster armor and/or front plow or ramplates.
I am sure there are better out there. It has been 10ish years...
Starcore

Is that a 15cm caster i see?

Actually pretty much all of the 36HS should be invertible (or at least somewhat controllable while inverted). But yeah, the rest are advantages you could get when dropping a motor from the setup. Looks sweet.
-
Looks nice.
l think it would be worth trying one black battery instead of two with only 3 weapon motors and see what you can get with the extra 30kgs.

Yes, the Snappers in the back are up a notch so figured to fill in space and increase odds of the Caster taking the hit by that much more on the backs and sides in those rear corners.

Well the invertible gets a bit harder with using the casters is why I mentioned.

With the learning that the HP-zteks only take 100 each vs 400 as previously documented, yes I could drop down to 1 Black Battery and put 1 more Plow to the front or if I go asymmetrical might be able to squeeze on 2 more Plows.
There is some plus to keeping the 2nd Black Battery to keep the spinners at full power deeper into the match. Will do some timing tests to see if it stays over 3/4th power at 1 and 2 minute marks.
Can't quite put in 3 more Maces (would also need 3 more 20 cm extenders for another 6 Kg). Will think on it.

I tried with 1 battery and was at half power at 1 minute. As I recall the batteries get weaker at 75%, 50% and 25%. Making for slower speeds which would be fewer rotations per second which could me fewer hits per unit of time.
But separately I went back and checked and in loading the maces, looks like I only got on 34 vs 36. So will need 20Kg to finish up the design. Looks like more work ahead of me. (Fewer casters or -1 battery to free up KG for full 36HS)
Starcore
-
you can always go for 1 black + 1 nifty, it'll free up around 12 kg which is 2 more casters then.
or you can try mounting your maces like this
(http://i.imgur.com/VqfA6Vk.png)
which would free up 18kgs on its own
-
Not sure what you are doing for having 4 connections.
This is what I did for 4 connections:
I am not using the bottom connection because it scrapes the ground.
So I have:
1 top forward-facing connection
2 middle forward-facing connections (1 from the vertical extender and 1 from the extender attached to the rear lower connection of the top extender)
1 lower forward-facing connection
Not using the lowest pointing down connection because it scrapes the ground
Starcore
-
There is 4 maces on the set up I post, 2 on the top extender and 2 on the bottom on, it looks like 3 since 2 of them are overlapping.
-
Excuse me, not seeing your extender choices. Is why I posted my extender choices.
Is this what you are suggesting?
(https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/14868Loaded 3.jpg)
So Top Extender has 1 mace on its forward facing connection and 1 on its front downward facing connection.
Then on its rear downward facing connection, attach a vertical extender with its 2 forward facing connections used for maces.
At a slight reduction in reach that works well. I admit I was focused on having as many maces at the same amount of reach and was already nervous of loss of reach vs Irons and trying to maximize.
Will build up a version like that and compare it to the way I had done it with the slightly more forward reaching maces.

Maybe my eyes are getting old. I couldn't see how you set up the extender(s) from that shot.
I figured out what you were suggesting.
Starcore

Yeah, the nice thing about maces is they allow setups like that.

BIlly Goat Gruffiest WIP. Managed to get burst wedges and irons. I have enough weight for side plows, but not enough to mount them on baseplate anchors, and I can def shrink the chassis more, so I gotta rebuild again.

can you not use shinies?

If my math's right you'd weigh 800.1 Kgs. :FFFUUU

Looking great! Thanks for taking serious the updating of the Billy Goat Gruff team. You have held to the face spinner style nicely. When ready send it over and I will get in the pack for the next community Alpha review.

slight rebuild of hostile assault. pretty much identical to the original, i removed the blades and the pink battery to free up weight for two blue snappers that are stacked in the same place as the original blue snappers. the new blue snappers only hold the wedges, while the old blue snappers hold the plows and ramplates. as a result the bot's wedginess is comparable to nwb.
-
Bot looks really good as is, but do you think there's anything you can do with an extra 30 KG by ditching the third black? Seems a bit excessive given that 2 DDTs and 4 HPZ only use 1400 input, and 2 blacks give 1600 output.
-
i could probably add some more razors and casters... i honestly prefer 3 blacks with this as it seems more powerful to me.
-
Billy Goat Gruff prototype. I'm forgoing a wedge in favor of duel spinners, but it needs better extender work. It is not fully invert-able, and I have enough weight for redbirds if I can fit them in...
-
make the chassis bigger so you can turn around the BA that holds the drive so the T is inside the chassis protect, then you can stack the BA that holds the RADS into it so it's invertible
-
That helped
(https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/19886screenshot_20.jpg)
I tried this too, but the version with larger wheels actually drives better.
I'd liiike to try to get rebirds on the weapon motors instead, but that seems to be more tricky.
-
I mean FS are essentially rammers with flair, so your drive motors are basically weapon motors anyways
