You could remove a drive motor and add a plow...
Also, why did you make it asymmetrical? The drive is better wider to give a faster turning speed.
Better than GK since 2009.

1. 1WD drive? AH HELL NO!
2. Asymmetrical? Could you care to elaborate.
3. Yeah, I realise that now. The mean purpose of this bot was really just 1. To see if I could do it and 2. To make it as air-tight as possible =P

But yes, you're right.

There's a reason behind the common nifty between RADs setup with snapper in front, it's usually the best.

He means why is the Nifty off to one side and the Snapper is on the other side rather than in-line between the drive motors.

I like it personally.  It helps set that bot apart from the crowd of generic LW HS, and is still an efficient setup.

But if he had the snapper in the middle he could use up the last weight with a razor tip. Yes it's efficient, but all it does is sacrifice turning ability.
(Why am I arguing against Click?)

lel

Anyway, back to stock. I was going to try to surprise you all, and enter my first BOTM for September, in a weightclass I've never built in before and a Mod I haven't used for god-knows-how-long. But I started two days AFTER the deadline closed, and I only realised after finishing the bot. Derp. I had a background ready and everything.

As you can see, it's predominantly purple. The bot was called Machine Head, a reference to Deep Purple. :3

As for the bot, it's a 1 pink and DSA concoction, and I'm really happy with it, considering I haven't gone as far as touch Stock for a long time.

Mmm. Generic. Nom.

Because I got lazy and couldn't be bothered to make the chassis larger to fit it in =P

I'm not sure which style is more weight efficient. I'm guessing using a baseplate anchor?

You'll get a FS like effect with axles that will allow the weapons to grind at the chassis of opponents.

I didn't know that at the time. :3

So how unoriginal is it?

I have a few axle FS AW's in the Stock mini's AI pack, still pretty original as I haven't really seen anyone else using axle weapons.

Well, ain't that awesome? I'm now going to DL the Mini's AI Pack, and have a test to see how combat effective it is.

Results of that will most likely be posted tomorrow.

I suggest testing against:

Mini - Flaming Whizzer
Mini - Backyard Ripper
Mini - Coal Miner
Mini - RPB
Mini - Fury

I have newer versions of Mini - RPG and Mini - Backyard Ripper that aren't released yet, both have had their armour upgraded from plastic to DSA.

They are probably some of the best AW's in the pack and Mini - Flaming Whizzer recently won one of my display tournaments against AW's from Stock mini's AI and Starcore AI.

pretty cool bot and skin but 1 pink powering 2 rads is going to run out quick, atleast its not another 1wd hs, normally i test my aws against riptide logic probe and all those other sc4 ants but i geuss stock minis ai is cool too

and i have mini backyard ripper w/ dsa to test against if you want it and if ian is cool with sharing it
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Thanks,

If Ian is cool with it, it would be pretty awesome if I had the bot, so yes please.    Also, without testing it, would using plastic armour (the only thing I can think of to shed weight) be worth it to gain another ant? Assuming it frees up enough weight?

>ant batteries

well you could make 2 versions, one with dsa and 1 pink and one with plastic and 2 pinks, and see which one does better against whatever bots you choose to test against
