Showcase of Flying_Chao
« on: July 02, 2008, 12:37:18 PM »
It will take me a little while to rebuild my  showcase from the old forum, but for now I will post the most recent version of Dark Shape, my HW rammer. My SHW, LW, and never before seen MW are to come.

This looks exactly like Somebody's ram.

You still can get the chassis smaller.

Bump.

Should I stick with the curved hammer setup or go back to the straight one with more razers? If you need inside-shots, just ask.

You can get shinies easily.

And a wedge would be a nice add-on.

It doesn't drive as straight with shinies, but I'll see about getting a wedge. Which hammer should I go with? Straight or curved?

curved
works better IMO.

You know, I don't think I've ever seen a hammer-rammer hybrid with only one hammer in favor of more ram spikes before.  Very nice.

I'd suggest you angle the razor tips on the the end of the hammer more.  As is, it looks like they would hit with the flat side.  Which isn't bad, but it means the extenders are closer to the other bot and more likely to be hit.  Try and angle the razors so they hit with the point.

Click - I just did that, and it works a lot better. It's probably more of a rammer with a genetic mutation than a true hybrid....

Pwnator - Depends on how wedgy the VS is....
