Nice pop-up RS, but that unprotected front could be destroyed pretty easily.

Naryar, I disagree. Caster armour is the great equalizer against the hordes of HS's that drown our arenas today.

Agreed, Nice bot SD. As long as you can keep facing your opponent.
I was thinking of making one like that for this present Tourney, except that the curve of the radius would go back toward/around the bot for a little more protection.

Well for a anti HS thing, a hybrid ram/hammer is THE solution. Or an armored popup.

Putting up a ramplate V at the front of your bot is best for me. Or a rack of irons. Besides, it's worth for a LW, because it takes time for a LW HS to destroy a ramplate, largely enough to pin it against a wall.

But I had to admit that this caster armor is much effective against HS. I've tried caster armor on a HW hammer, but that was difficult to put on and not really efficient because of crappy placing of the casters.

very nice. i bet thats does great against everything. looking at the chassis, i would presume you have 2 blue snappers on their sides with the black batt (is it 1 or 2?) in between. the snappers would face forward (the axle pointing forward) with 2 20cm extenders coming off it. the attachment points would be pointing forward, with all 4 HP Z-teks on them, and the drive motor on the end attachment. this would be the case for both snappers. the snappers are probably 2 notches raised.

it might be good to rotate half the motors upside-down, to protect against low chassis and weapons.

if thats only one black batt, do something about it.

you could save some weight by shaving the top corners a little.

Sage, you mean he attached them like in a hammer/spear config, that is 4 zteks in a direct line composed of 2 20cm extenders, in fact 2 lines, each attached to the rotating connection point of the snapper, and the drive to the servo-behaving connection point?

If i count well it makes 6 attachments for the farther iron spike to each snapper II...

damn, this is impressive effeing.

Ok, well I havent been in the mood to play RA2 much lately. I did upgrade(maybe) two of my old bots.

Heres The Chainsaw. Tell me what version you like better. The 2wd drive one with tons of weapons or the 4wd one with not so many weapons.

And the Twig upgraded a bit. I changed how the drive was attached and got enough weight to put on irons.

finally a weird glitch I might have discovered. While messing around with a Backyard Ripper upgrade I was able to do this. For about 20 seconds I was able to put anything in anything.
