Exactly. He feels he has to state his opinion when he doesn't really need to. If you don't have anything to say, shut up.

Yeah, but Nary, we've already established that I'm talentless :)
Nobody is talentless in RA2, as each member has his/her own methoss for creating robots.
Just, some members are more serious then others at this game, and as a result, end up building stronger ones.
And over time(at different speeds, of course), everyone does get good at this game.
Scourge, you just need to find a bot style(HS, rammer, pop-up, etc) you like, then try and build the best version of that you think is good.
And of course, GTM will go over the same "Rate/Fix" process, give you ideas on how to improve it, etc, etc, and there you go, you have your own awesome robot.

....Also, nobody is required to post bots to justify being on this thread.
Everyone just posts bots on a casual basis

Hey guys, just here to warn you... that I'm not dead

This is a work-in-progress bot which is currently called Major F*ckup (It's okay to say it if it's starred, right? I'll probably be changing the name later anyways)
My intention with this bot is to see how many pistons I can throw in a bot of maximum dimensions. So far, it has 53, and I'm only just finished Layer 2

DISCLAIMER: I am building this FOR FUN (and to show you guys that I am doing things with RA2... when I have a slice of free time). I don't care what you have to say about chassis size or how I'm wasting weight. I just heard all that from powerrave, I don't need another one of those lectures

I doubt the strongest computer in the world could run that without lag.

Oh, it's gonna lag alright... setting off however many pistons there are at once-

I just realised I'm going to have to wire them all XD

If you want to do something slightly less laggy with pistons, make a Trinity Flyer. They basically spin around VERY FAST and when the pistons fire, they will go flying into the air. Joe has some AI somewhere that he used for that epic challenge.

That sounds like fun 8D

How many pistons would need to be removed?

I really think we should have a Trinity Flier AI Pack.

How many pistons would need to be removed?
If you put the motor on a baseplate anchor pointing out of the robot you could probably minimize the amount of pistons needed to be removed.
Or you want to mount the motor in the chassis then 4 pistons in each corner? I think? Hard to tell.

Hmm... Well, I'll experiment with that, but I don't have any time left for it this week... the earliest I can get round to it is next Sunday, and that's only if I can obtain the time
