Title: Robo-Snatcher V.2 (My original idea)

i'm pretty sure i'm the first to come up with this type of robot. It's a TRAPPER type robot and what it does it traps robots under it by driving over them and then shutting the door (moving the extenders across) so they can't get out!

at the moment it only works on smaller robots but oh well it's still fun :D

it doesn't do any damage so to win matches you trap them and drag them over hazards like spikes ect.

Firebeetle did one better and made a bot with a hover engine and a cage like that.  It trapped bots in the cage, then lifted off with the hover engine to take them to the ceiling.  Then the bottom of the cage opened, and the bots take a little tumble :lol:

But for a non-cheatbot2 bot, that thing's pretty good and definitely creative.

Its not really a new idea.  When RA2 just came out I played a guy online that  had a great bot like this but it had pistons to shoot down some spikes.

BTW- this idea isnt too original. before this i've created a robot called "Master Hand." same method except it uses its fingers to crush opponents while crawling itself over its foes chassis. pretty fun to watch... untill it finally tips over.
