What's the shape of the chassis before you glitched it? o_o

Also, I'm worried about the length of the stabilizers. It looks prone to tipping over to the front when it lands a hit.

cool chassis use but probably my least favorite of the 3.. it doesnt have static weapons at the front like the others D:

I wanted to stick some razors or something on, but I just ran out of weight... I may try switching up some things (like the stabilizer setup) and see what comes out. I'm done for tonight though. 11:30 is past my bedtime :O

I can't really think of any advice apart from trying to get some static weapons on the middleweight.

Actually robo, if you switch it to low rez, then quit your game, then go back in, it will LOOK high res but still technically be low res and the trov glitch will work

I presume you used the trov glitch and then moved the points around afterwards. Love the creativity.

The only downside is that it only works on low resolution (or the game crashes - a side effect of the Trov glitch), so it's not very shiny.

Whatcha guys think?

Does that ACTUALLY save weight?
Or is it some random issue with the low-res gimmick?

Either way, its an interesting use of that glitch.

Yes, it does save weight in the sense that you dont have the faces on the top or bottom.

Cool design. As mentioned previously, it looks like it would fall over as soon as it makes contact with the opponent. If this is a problem, I would try downgrading the weapon motors (not sure how much this would help) and adding some castor armor to the paper thin wall (in the hopes of it doing better against HSers). Does the bot remain stable after one of the blades fall off?

Your starting to become one of my favorite builders here. Not only did you use my glitch but a majority of your recent bots have been original/innovative in some way.

@Sage: That solution to the res problem doesn't work for me for whatever reason. Oh well.

And I fixed the stability problems and added razors and some castors :D

I watched a Youtube vid this morning of some guy bragging about owning EMERGENCY in 20 seconds using custom components, then I read the comments and lol'ed at Sparkey flaming him xD

So, since I got a shiny new version of Fraps (that works this time), I decided to make a vid of one of my best HW's owning EMERGENCY.

R4 ftw.

Also, for some reason, my computer dosen't have Windows movie maker :| Are there any free videoediting programs out there that you guys would recommend?

Windows Movie Maker doesn't come with Windows 7. There's some replacement that you can download.

Windows 7 has windows live movie maker, which is a peace of crap. Download WAX. It's a good free editing program.
