Still trying to find the smallest chassis for my hybrid. Meanwhile, another clone!

Depth Charge - 4 blacks, 10 razors, the rest you can see. If you've noticed, the drive is on the actuator system as well, and at both configurations, the drive position remains the same. Seems pretty cool, but...

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. It always veers to the right, despite redoing the drive 3 times. Bummer. I hope the AI can get around this. >.<

Anyways, I think the linear actuators should be better forward.

For fixing that "does not drive straight" problem, you might try rotating the wheels via BFE

I had an amazing bot like this one too.
And of course, it also veers to the right.
I kept thinking I could use more pinks (yes, pink batteries) to somehow "balance" the veering-to-the-right thing.
It helps, but its still really noticeable(the turning) :/

My guess is that its a glitch.

I fiddled around with the battery setup (with BFE, of course. I'm testing stuff XD) with 4 blacks on one side, but there's no noticeable change in steering. O_O

Oh well. A 3.5 turnspeed makes it look like it's just limping, rather than drunk. XD

Dunno why that bot doesn't drive straight--it IS perfectly balanced right? Must be some sort of slight AGOD. Have you tried pausing before loading?

Cool MW RfD too. You really need 2 counter-rotating spinners on that design though in order to be stable. I originally put 3 spinners on RfD, but the third spinner threw off the balance and it was horrible, and 4 spinners was too heavy, so I ended up loading way too many maces on 2 tribars.

If you managed to cram 2 spinners on there you might be able to get away with a Snapper 2 for the hammer since the bot won't spin around as much.

Also, this is one of those rare designs that performs better as AI than human-controlled. All those battles in the RfD splash were AI'd.

I thought Click said they didn't. Or it might have been Sage or Pwn. It would explain why Halestorm 7 has randomly started veering right, I guess.

Make a hotdog chassis.
Place axles dead center.
Place slims on the axles.
Test balance in garage.
Fix if needed.
Then place one black on one end.
???
Profit.

A quickly made bot for proof of concept.

So I tried cloning Capacitor without giving sucky wedges, and it worked. Kinda sorta. Like all bursted VSes (this uses 2 servos because I'm too lazy to rebuild lolololol), this is bouncy, but since it can get under Infra and Wipeout most of the time, I'm happy.
