umm I am pretty sure its just axle loaded

but if he did BFE anything on or swap anything that is why its still MW

because the weight-class is written in the botfile.. so when you change stuff via BFE the weight-class will stay the same.

or could be very damn lucky :P

I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

It's just axle loading and a good stack.

Edit: OH WAIT is that BFE ??? Joe makes a good point on the 400kg thing :P

For some reason it went beyond the limit. When I did the setup, the last component I applied was a shiny, then it still registered itself as MW. But when I redid the setup with the last component being a mace, it went from MW to HW. o_O

And I'm still trying to replicate that caster height I achieved on Crankshaft pages back. Still no luck. >.<

Oh no, you will not avoid the question. 400kg is HW, as you know.

How did you do it ? NARYAR DEMANDS TO KNOW !

How did I not avoid it? Maybe this will help:

Imagine the whole bot without one of the wheels but instead has an extender + RAD. I had the RAD loaded so the main RAD's axle is detached. I removed the extender + RAD, so the weight was at 388.0 kg (still MW). I attached the shiny, and then the weight went up to 400.0kg, but it was still registered as MW. So I saved it, opened another copy, and removed 3 maces + 2 extenders, and redid that arm again. Before the last mace, it was at 390.0kg, which was still MW. I attached the final mace, and the weight went up to 400.0kg, which was just as it should be, HW.

If you can't figure that out, then I can't help you. :P

The weight set in text files changes the mainbody's mass only, as far as I know.

But it's wheels, so there is just one body (unlike DSL motors that have different weights ingame and in txt)... and I don't even remember if the stock wheels have mass inside their txt. I think so, but unsure.

Wheels actually have two bodies, the actual wheel and the traction zone, which is usually 2 kgs.

:O  New way to cheat the weight limit ingame?  Just need to figure out how to do it consistently.

Doesn't that mean you could have 4kg's extra on a 2WD bot!?  :gawe: *goes off to make advantage of this new glitch*

EDIT: Darn, doesn't work. Must be an occasianal thing, like the Zero G Glitch. Anyone know how to make Zero G happen on command?

Ah ok. Makes sense since there are 2 collisions on F12-view.

IIRC I remember Scrap knowing how. But he won't say it to you.

I remember Scrap saying that Pysc discovered how, but he wouldn't spoil it because in his opinion it would ruin the game.

Oh! I remember now. I remember reading a post in Scrap's showcase saying that Pysc knew how but didn't tell anyone as he was worried that they would get loads of bots with 10 HP-Zteks in a 2x2 cube.

ZeroG is a randomly occurring glitch that basically eliminates the collision mesh for a while. I think Sage told me that or someone.

What NFX said. At least we thought it was random, but pysc may have figured out the trigger.

Well, we've gotta find out. With DSL gaining superiority, this glitch will give us the boost we need to send DSL packing! Who's with me?
