Still pointless IMO, if you'd finished it, and nobody had done it before, it would have been a lot more impressive than posting a half finished bot loosely using the idea.
Besides, what does it matter if someone had done this before? It's still hardly common.

Does every thing half to be done to look impressive? What if he wanted to do a different idea that no one did before and only did half of it to give the genral idea? Rather then finishing it and realizing its a clone of something and having to redo it all together?

Erm, no, I had a different idea actually, maybe the idea of that bot isn't what I think it is.

Anyway, LLB, he may aswell finish it before posting, if it's a clone, nobody's going to care if it's built well, and if it isn't, as I said before if you actually read my posts properly, it's even better for him. Besides, if we all start posting progress updates of our bots, the showcase sections gonna become rather bloated, rather fast.

But, Preytor, I do like the idea. Just use DDTs to get better flipping power.

think about how you build popups. If you do it right, you could have a really cool bot on your hands

Well the armor should go in the front, requiring a rebuilt chassis towards whether you would want static or snapper mounted armor, and then it would probably also help to have something to protect the exposed motors.
