Why not have the SnapperII's both vertical with the axles facing outwards? You can have them both sticking out of the sides of the chassis to give a wider stance and less likelihood of being flanked. I can't imagine it'd effect how wedgy it is at all.

Force of habit. =P In what way are they not exactly the same? Do you mean one is slightly higher than the other? I'd have thought using the pause button would have solved that.
If you use Pause while adjusting them, they just don't move. Try pausing and going into the test lab and back, see if they're level then.
