I meant central as in vertical, for invertability.

I understand that you need it like that, but it can be slightly offset horizontally, and it'll still work.

God daaaaaaaaamn that is a nice exostack. I just tried to replicate it, but no dice, even with Hax Mode, your movepixel tool, and my 1600 x 1200 resolution all put together. xD Awesome job. Looks very fearsome.

As for the setup, the lightest one I see is 6 kg of extenders, one attached to the secret SnapperII attachment point with its side attachments pointing up, then another one aligned with that extender, attached with the side attachment point. On that extender, you can attach one drive motor and one weapon motor. Then, you can use the other upward-pointing attachment point on the extender directly attached to the SnapperII to attach a third extender that is also aligned with the other two. To this new extender, you can attach the remaining weapon and drive motor. The weapon motors should probably be attached to the attachment points pointing back towards the SnapperII. However, a tiny bit of them will stick out past the SnapperII this way, and you'll lose the protected weapon motors and invincible front unless you can get the motors covered with the snowplow you were going to attach.

There is a lighter one with 4kg he could use, with a 20cm attached to the SnapperII with the end AP, and the side AP's pointing parallel to the baseplate, then attach another 20cm to the first 20cm using the side AP furthest from the SnapperII, and have it pointing in the same direction as the first one. Like this: ||. The RADs could be attached to the end AP's, and the Z-Teks could be attached to the side AP's closest to the SnapperII. I used the same setup on Singularity, only with an axle mount.

Alright, trying a new setup.

An extender attached with it's normal attachment point to the secret AP and with it's two side AP's up. Then two extender inside eachother (eFFe) with the RADs attached to it.

Not sure if it's invertable now though.

Same, that's what I have on Trine 2.1. :P But that setup, combined with unraised SnapperII = dead invertibility.

Exactly, and I'm not wanting to compromise it in that way.

I think that seems to be as good as he could get at the moment. If he could raise the SnapperII one click off the baseplate and still get it to exostack (Or stack it into the Nifty, if that'll work), then he could definitely drop to only 2 20cm extenders and get the plow on that way with an added 20cm. Or 40cm, I forget the length he'll need.

I tried everything, but I can't get it to exostack raised one tick.

Ah well, you can't have it all :)

I tried everything

You aren't using hax mode for building are you?

But anyways, nice job putting the snapperII outside the chassis.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

No, with everything I meant "all plausible camera angles and positions for the SnapperII".

I haven't even used hax mode for a fun bot yet.

Damn it NC, that's a kick-ass Exo-stack. Especially because its a Snapper II, as it adds just 500 more possibilities.

I have to say, I am very skeptical of that exostack.

If I have the time I'll make a video.

EDIT: Also, Geice has done this exostack too: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,6911.msg389009.html#msg389009

Thanks.

Quick question hijacking my own showcase, can two DDT's be stacked together? An image of it would be awesome :D

You cant exactly high-jack your own showcase. Especially if your asking about potential building strategies.
I know you CAN stack DDTs together, its just... I cant find an appropriate image.

First MW! A popup called The Troll.

396.6 kg
DSA
1 Black
4 razors
2WD HP-Ztek
Green snapper wedges
DDT weapon

Ramplates attached to wedges, they are pretty sweet.

Well that looks decent.

Try to do the Pysc popup challenge (3 DDT's, 1 wedge, hpzs with rubbers and an airtight chassis)

OWAIT WHY AM I HELPING MY OPPONENT

Looks pretty good. I think that plow on top throws off the colour scheme slightly, and I'd be worried about the robot tipping back, that's happened to me before with a similar robot. Maybe you could stand to get another couple of razors on there.

On the subject of the DDT stack, I think it is possible, but you have to axle load the first DDT's arm out of the way.

Am I the only one who finds it hilarious how NC's 'The Troll' is a pop-up with "lava armor"?
I'm probably over-thinking things, but ehh... So what else is new?
