How do the wedges suck? Green Snappers are the best wedges
inf?

...Are you alright?

Keep the Z-techs straight
Try to move the plows in a bit perhaps?

Umm, I mean i'm pretty alright...because Green Snappers definitely make the best wedges...DDTs are not better (trust me, i'm a doctor).

Uneven bot, useless back area, chassis space. That's what's wrong so far.
It's fix the asymmetrical placement, and then see if the wedge is done unevenly.
After that, Shrink it down.

Please shut up you flaming f***0t. Everyone knows you know absolutely nothing about good bot building so shut yer trap!
*Throws S32 into a pile of cinder blocks*

Alright NC, you are very close to finishing this bot. Put the shinies back on...extend the wedges 40cm (this will greatly help wedgy-ness), and i'll show you a picture of what you should do with that awkward back plow you keep changing around.

There ya go. Follow those things, and you have a great finished project!

I changed the plows a little in front so it's a bit wider now, because before bots hit the undersides of the plows even if they got lifted. This is how it looks now:

You mean 60+40=100cm? Ok. How steep should they be, because they kinda suck ATM:

Thanks  :heart_smiley:

Yes 40cm more (should be around 100cm total, yes) and a little steeper. Tweak it a little bit every time and put it up against the most-wedgiest bots in Starcore (RPB, NWB to name a few). You can gauge from going against them what works best. It seems wrong I know, but they do in fact need to be steeper.

If you like the plows the way you have now, then that's all that matters! It's functional, and it's you. You are an example my friend. Very nicely done.

Thanks, two questions and one remark:

1. "RPB, NWB": ??? and Neglected Waterbug?

2. "You are an example my friend." What do you mean with that? I'm sorry, english is not my mother tongue and this expression is unclear to me.

3. If the wedges are too steep the opposing bot (should) get lifted, that's ok. The problem might be then that their front hits the underside of my plows. I'll have to test it though.

1. Rabid Pit Bull and Neglected Waterbug, two of the hardest, wedgiest HWs.

2. Why didn't you tell me you were not native speaking English? I would have made things simpler for you. No wonder you did not understand about the back snowplow right away! But by "you're an example", what I mean is you are an example of how all new members here, who are looking to get better at building, should behave and take advice to their actual bots! That is a very good bot, by newbie standards.

Whats the weight of Le Finished Project?

793.2, still a bit underweight.

@Infinite, I'm not sure if you looked at my best bot so far, on page 4 (just wondering): https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,6980.msg365086.html#msg365086

Also, despite I'm not speaking native English, I'm not that bad either (IMO).

Also, I had the idea since I still have the weight to put one extender more on the back plow so it's a tad higher. Comments?

No I saw it. You're a very good builder, like I said! Both HW VSes and Popups are hard to be both original and destructive.

You can do both... which means monster potential in my eyes!

And you are good with your English, sounds authentic to me! Trust me, we've had foreigners around here who were a lot worse ( remembers how thankful he is that Venko disappeared -_- )

It's up to you. A higher plow will mean better trapping. Whatever you desire! It needs no more critiquing, from my point of view. I just want to see some battleshots (;

Are you good at making custom textures? If you send me those two bots (the VS and the POPUP), I will make you special skins...I need to rekindle my Photoshop capabilities...

I'll send you the bot soon, after I'm done tweaking the wedges. You can try it yourself then and possibly make a skin :)

Also, the bot is very good at winning wedge battles. Know the situation where you and the other bot are stuck in each others gap up front? Well, in that situation my bot always flips the other bot with it's VS.

Scorpion's right. Check that out first. (Quick off topic: Scorpion, are you the same Scorpion from wayway back? I mean like original RA2 forum annoying Scorpion from way back?) (EDIT: Clarified by Naryar below)

BUT ANYWAY, I will check those out NC, play around, and hopefully make you some sexy skins!
