Quite nice. =] Does that work in the BBEANS Arena? (It has a perfectly flat floor, so there won't be any minute bouncing.)

Well I've tried, but they just bounce into eachother mostly, I can't get under Neglected, and neither can he get under me. Flanking is the only way lift there. Does that mean my bot also has "the correct wedges", as said by Somebody?

Yeah, if you want a good wedge in the BBEANS arena... you are going to have to start all over.

It did have about 80kgs of ballast in the front. And it only happened one in 5 times, according to Clickbeetle.
(I went through the BBEANS 5 thread yesterday. I was bored as heck.)

Yeah, but it is a testament as to how insanely flat the BBEANS arena is.

When I made Elle Driver for the following BBEANS... it could outwedge most everything in the Standard Combat arena (mainly because the door hinge would submerge it under the floor).  But when the bot competed in the BBEANS arena, the wedge was absolute crap.  Totally my fault though, I should have tested it in the BBEANS arena anyways.

But yeah... I wouldn't be surprised if a ballast-spammed chassis wedge done right could easily out-wedge Snapper wedges in the BBEANS arena because of the floor.  Just my opinion.

I have no idea what he (Somebody) meant by that. I think he's just crazy :P

OK, I just found out something exciting. Driving with my bot iNCineration has always been a pain. Despite it's 4WD drive it's extremely slow.

Now during one match all of a sudden the problem was gone. I guess some blocking part or so fell off, either way it "restored" to normal driving.

How can I fix this in the botlab? Perhaps I can send someone the .bot and he/she can look at it?

I'm gonna guess it's the side ramplates or the wedge being very low.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Might have been because of the arena?

No, it happened mid-fight. I think SM has nailed it, the wedges are so heavy they cause one of the wheel drive to not hit the ground or something weird like that.

Yeah, from my experience in stock, wedges are best when part of them are just below the bottom of the chassis.

Alright, my new popup, RockOn (yes, random name)! After I built it I noticed it looks a lot like seism 13.

I have no idea how I did it, but it drives perfectly straight, even backwards! It also has 5 ramplates, 10 razors, 4WD with rubbers, 2 SnapperII's and a snowplow with 765.1kg used!

It gets under NWB head-on in BBEANS arena.

Pic (insides pic has plow moved so you can see):

Looks pretty nice. Not sure why the plow's there, though, the weight could have been used to add moar razors.

It doesn't really need moar razors really. I even downgraded to 8 razors in my next version (this allows me to place two more plows, one for each side of the bot).

The plow is there for evil VS's that like to munch on my top.
