Axebot. 4wd HPZs :O:O:O and like 4 Blacks and nifties. Axe on a DDT, pole spike flipper on a snapper2 (because Scout was giving me trouble XO), and 2 stationary spikes on the back. Steel armor. Chassis is as big X-Y as it can get.

Axebot was so awesome IMO then that I vowed I'd never make another robot with 4wd HPZs... :S Then a year later I realized that was dumb and got a weeeee bit better.

2 black and 1 pink (overpowerd bigtime)
weighs barely enough for hevyweight division
DSA armor ( because i didnt know how to get to the armor section LOL!)
snapper 2 burst with hammerhead So pretty bad huh

ok well half made, something was wrong with my first install and I couldn't rotate parts so I just made a modified version of spin bonker :P

HS/SnS, only thing that has changed in a new baseplate skin specially for n00b Warz :P

I put it in Omni and it works pretty good. Beats all the Stock AI HW's, and i nearly KOed Emergency with it. Invertible. Normal Ti armor (BOT-CHOY's exact same chassis, i dont think it has DS Ti)

I think i have my chances without all the gay pits.

1st is Rust Bucket. Steel armor, RAD, 556.9 kgs. Nifty and 6 pinks. A few 40 kg ballsts thrown in for good measure.

Or you could fight Blue Bolt, a lame SnS. Titanium, redbird drive, horribly exposed wheels but can survive better w/o them than Rusty there.

Neither has any weapons, and I will choose 1 at random if we have some byes. They ARE allowed to win. So if you get flipped or something, you're out and they are victorious. So be careful and get your bots in!

Well I was going to enter a hammer bot but, ha I think you guys know why. Anyways I'm back for revenge this season and I know I should least make it past the first round, it would be really sad if I didn't. As for the rumbles doubt it because I don't have enough Co2. It would be nice to see this season all 1on1 matches because it will be different from the the first season and this way only the good noob bots will prevail not the ones that shoulden't even with a match like last season(just my opinion):smiley:.

It orignally did not have a skin at all because it sucked so bad I didn't bother. I asked Reier if I could skin the bot to make it a bit more amusing.

While, it is fun to watch it fight... it can't beat Emergency or Coal Miner. The razors break off waaaay too easily & the wheels get lobbed off pretty quickly in battles.

Shredder evolution, one of my replicas that was so bad I was too ashamed to post it when I joined. This was before I understood how multiple extension points worked; I got the weapon motors to face upwards with baseplate anchors. Also notice that I've tried to cram in as many pinks as I could. Incidentally, since this is a replica, have a look at what I was trying to replicate:

Interesting story behind this bot. A long time ago, Firebeetle and I were at a robot combat event (I think it was the Triangle Series Nationals) where Wedge of Doom was competing. The announcer at the event was talking about how you can make a bot name out of practically anything if you just add "Of Doom" at the end. Sort of poking fun at Wedge of Doom. Seeking an example, he saw a member of the audience eating out of a box of Wheat Thins, so he said, "Why, you could even make a bot called Wheat Thins Box of Doom!" So naturally, once we got home FB promptly made a bot called Wheat Thins Box of Doom, and scanned all the panels of a box of Wheat Thins to skin it. Not to be outdone, I went and made Cheez-It Box of Doom the same way. I didn't really know what I was doing design-wise, so it turned out pretty bad even for that time. And thus was born my N00b Warz bot.

On another note, I'm confused about some of the bots people are calling "too good". I haven't seen any bots I would call too good so far, here or in anyone's showcase. Heck, a lot of you said Somestrangeguy's wacky HS/VS hybrid with 4 maces was too good, yet no one has mentioned Big Box, which has twice as many maces.

Also, wasn't the original Big Box a SHW with a maximum-size chassis filled with a bunch of random weapons? Or am I thinking of something else. I don't actually remember the bot, I just remember you (Redline) talking about it.

It works kind of like a cheesier, saltier version of Diesector. Didn't need anything too special; I just used Topknot.py.

I think it's because the maces on mine are used ineffectively. Maces in reality are weapons to be swung, ya'know? Not virtually poking your enemy (while being swung at a right angle to their general direction)

While they do provide a decent frontal defence, there's nothing stopping BB being flipped, or anything going around the side.

I remember I copied the hammer from Raptor because I thought it was awesomely powerful. Of course, when it can hardly reach the opponent, things are a little different...

I guess you mean overexposed because many bots do it. Hell, haven't seen wheels mounted in the chassis on this forum at all. Suppose it makes sense though. Giving the chassis a little more protection, for a wheel coming off isn't as bad as a KO..

Looks alright. For a n00b bot.
